Fëanáro and baby Atarinkë

When he was a baby, Curufinwë was already close with his Atar, and for a long period only accepted Fëanáro’s arms, for the reason Fëanáro took care of him the most.

One of the funniest interactions in the Silmarillion for me tbh is when Curufin decides not to kill Eöl. I mean, it appears he doesn’t have much of an issue with murder and it probably would have been better in the long run for him to have killed Eöl but instead he’s like “by the laws of the Eldar I may not slay you at this time”. As opposed to some later date??? And also the same laws you broke in Alqualondë??? It’s just so funny to me. And the way it plays out in my head here is really more like:

Curufin: bitch get off my lawn I’m already in trouble with Maedhros and if I kill someone again I’ll never hear the end of it. Every minute you stay here is a threat to the both of us.
