Theory time (157  spoilers):

In regards of Deku's death, I don't think next chapter he will change destiny. Nor that he will die and for Eri to revive him like some people say. I think that he would just add "extra scenes" to his life and with that Horikoshi will have us wondering if at the end Deku will die sacrifising himself and dying, thus becoming "the greatest hero" or if he will success in changing fate.

And so with that it would add a new incognite everytime Deku encounters a villain because we will wonder if in this battle Deku will meet his destiny or not.

Also what makes me believe this is the fact that in an interview Hori said that this manga is the story of Deku and All Might, so it would be a nice parallel having both, teacher and student fighting against their cruel fates.

Idk personally I would find nice to have a parallel scene between Deku and All Might, where Deku tells All Might that he will die too according to Nighteye's vision and that maybe it would be better if he handles OFA to Mirio because he will die early, just for All Might saying "nonsense!" and tell Deku that he is his succesor and that he is sure he will live because they will twist fate together, while doing a fist bump just like Deku did a while ago it would be beautiful :')

Not to mention, it would add a new depth meaning to his catchphrase “I’m the Deku who’s vibe is never giving up! (in fighting destiny)”/ “I’m not Deku the useless, but the Deku who can do it! (change destiny)”

I'm sorry.

He failed. He had failed him. He had failed both of them. He had sworn Inko Midoriya to protect the child who was meant to be the next Symbol of Peace. He had promised Izuku, to protect and raise him to become the hero he was meant to be.

Toshinori Yagi, who until recently had been the number one hero, felt so powerless, so guilty, so empty right now. He should have seen this come, he must have paid more attention to Izuku, oh Izuku! The poor boy  beared such a heavy burden during the past days! He must have known, he should have known that the boy would be going to sacrifice everything for him. Izuku, that stubborn and optimist of a hero, he had promised to change fate! And he did! Wow he really did . That brave little hero kept his promise. Against all odds, he changed destiny. His beloved mentor was safe now.  His beloved teacher was alive. But at what cost.

Heavy tears found their way through the cheeks of that man that once was called The Symbol of Peace. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'M SORRY! The bereaved man screamed in sobs while he was holding a sweater that belonged to the deceased young hero. He held it against his chest, clenching his fists so hard that his knots turned white. And it hurt. It hurt so much to be in the boy's room. That timid, yet brave boy who admired him and idolized him so much. It was a constant reminder that he, the once powerful hero All Might, failed to protect the person who admired him the most, his number one fan, his succesor. The boy he had grow to love as the son he never had. His son.

Toshinori didn't dare to came to Izuku's funeral. He couldn't face Inko Midoriya yet. He just couldn't. He knew he had to do that, he knew he had to face her, and not hide like a fucking coward. But he couldn't. The pain was too much to even bear it right now.

He had failed Inko.

He had failed Izuku.

Perhaps, if someone could tell Toshinori how happy Izuku was, knowing he succeeded at saving that little girl, Eri, his heart would be less contrite. Maybe, if someone could tell him how happy the boy felt in his last moments of awareness, knowing that he saved the life of the man whom he viewed not just as his mentor but as the father he never had, his father, Toshinori would find some comfort. But no one could. No one but Izuku knew such things. Only Izuku could tell him. But Izuku was dead.

Instead, Toshinori stayed there, in the boy's room, clinging to that garment, clinging to that sweater, like his life depended on it, hoping to feel some of the essence of the young hero. As if hugging that piece of cloth was the same as hugging the boy, as if was the same as hugging his son.

I failed you, my boy...

I failed you Izuku ...

I'm sorry.

No podía soportarlo.

So this is my top 5 on my favorite panels in the manga, the ones I personally consider more iconic, because why not? ;)

(of course if you haven’t read  the manga, be aware of the spoilers)

In order of appearance in the manga:

1. The entrance of Shigaraki in chapter 13.

Oh man just look at the art right here. Horikoshi art is insane and the way he presents Shigaraki here is so creepy but so cool! Honestly I never will get tired from praising this man and the way the draws, Hori teach me your ways!

2. Izuku right here. Chapter 38.

This one right here still gives me chills!! Honestly when I started reading the manga, I liked Izuku, but couldn't considerate him a fave character at all. And not because Izuku was a bad character, don't get me wrong, but because I had seen the same type of main character, you know -cinnamon roll who did nothing wrong/ classic underdog/timid boy- in so many movies, animes, etc that I just grow up tired of it, and because of that I didn't expect much of Izuku as a character tbh. I though he will just have his classic emo phase during the sports festival, you know, the typical "oh I am so useless I cannot win bla bla bla" and then you will get that supporting character (most likely Ochako) telling them "I believe in you, you can do it bla bla bla" or something typical like that. Which is not bad, but its too cliche. That's why I was so sceptical about Izuku as  a character. But then the Sports Festival was passing while I was liking Izuku more and more with each chapter and then chapter 38 came and this panel, THIS SINGLE PANEL showed me than my little boy was more than the classic underdog, this panel show me how strong he became, how of a hero he was, HE LOOKS HERE SO BADASS AND INSANE AND I LOVE IT. This is the panel when Izuku became officialy one of my favorite characters in general and I just can't wait to see animated this.

3. Shimura Nana on chapter 92.

Did I need explain myself on this? Is frigging Shimura Nana, best heroine ever, and I love her so of course she has to be on this top. She looks badass and beautiful in all the panels she appears, but this one has a special place in my heart. She taught Toshi to smile even in the worst scenarios, standing with a smile like a hero, and the fact that All Might always smiles like Nana in his hero form is just :')

4. Chapter 95. THE DAD MIGHT HUG.

My fave of my fave of my fave of ALL TIMES. Honestly I nearly fainted when I saw this hug, I'm still not over it and I never will, All Might is such a father figure to Midoriya, and honestly I wasn't expecting this hug at all, but OUR GOD AND SAVIOUR Horikoshi made this glorious chapter and made us so happy :')

5. Deku vs Kacchan 2. chapter 119.

My new acquisition! haha. The reason why I wanted to do this post was because this glorious panel just joined in my list of  favorites iconic panels of bnha of all time. Just, look at it. IT IS PURE GOLD OH LORD. It's so funny, that even the first word that crossed my mind while I was seeing it was "kindergarden". Seriously they look such a kids on this, all I was thinking was TOSHINORI COME HERE TO CONTROLL YOUR KIDS xD. And yet is so iconic like, this single panel resumes their relationship in a nutshell, and also is so well drawed. And the tittle of the chapter just made it even funnier like, "Deku vs Kacchan 2?" there will be a 3d part? XD. And despite the childish aspect it feels so hype!! Idk man I just fell in love with this picture BLESS YOU HORI.

And well thats all, if you  want, feel free to add or tag me in your own panels/moments of the manga that you consider iconic, unforgettable or that are just your faves without a specific reason, I'm curious :D
