Taako found that when he was designing his new home with his husband, the kitchen kept shifting from the shiny, chrome fantasty-instagramable cooking space he’d been planning to something, brighter and warmer. Wooden countertops lovingly laid by Magnus, herbs grown (thankfully out of earshot) by Merle and tiles and lights and decorations found in markets with Ango. Taako would still be stumped years later, cooking breakfast with Lulu, about his very Un-Taako decorating choices.
Lup never had the heart to tell him that he’d basically remade their Aunts kitchen, from a home long destroyed. She’d just shrug and tell him; Well, obviously, she’d inherited the taste in the family and avoid being egged with that days omelettes with practised ease. A commission for Kristen, who wanted to give Taako his dream kitchen, and i couldn’t resist giving him a cooking buddy! Let me know if you can spot all the easter eggs!! 🍳🍳🍳

(I.d: a digital illustration of Taako and Lup sat together. The twins are both dark skinned elves with bright red/pink eyes. Taako has long textured ombre hair, going from black to lilac, a black wide brimmed hat that’s holographic and bright magenta/purple inside. He has several silver piercings in his nose and ears. He’s also wearing a black leather jacket covered in silver spikes and patches, his black jeans are ripped at the knee and he wears a grey t-shirt that says mage hand on the front, with a hand showing it’s middles finger with lightning bolts. His high leather boots are laced up as well as strapped and are a deep violet colour, matching the cloak of the manta ray he wears under his jacket. He’s sitting casually with his arms over his knees, his bracer on his left arm. He’s smiling relaxedly. Lup has a mohawk styled natural afro and is wearing a grey vest with a leather bracer on her arm. She has two golden piercings, a septum ring and a stud in her nose and she’s covered in scars. She’s grinning widely. Lup is sat behind Taako, playing with his hat and saying ‘so what’s with the Dome-piece T’ko?”)
