Taako found that when he was designing his new home with his husband, the kitchen kept shifting from the shiny, chrome fantasty-instagramable cooking space he’d been planning to something, brighter and warmer. Wooden countertops lovingly laid by Magnus, herbs grown (thankfully out of earshot) by Merle and tiles and lights and decorations found in markets with Ango. Taako would still be stumped years later, cooking breakfast with Lulu, about his very Un-Taako decorating choices.
Lup never had the heart to tell him that he’d basically remade their Aunts kitchen, from a home long destroyed. She’d just shrug and tell him; Well, obviously, she’d inherited the taste in the family and avoid being egged with that days omelettes with practised ease. A commission for Kristen, who wanted to give Taako his dream kitchen, and i couldn’t resist giving him a cooking buddy! Let me know if you can spot all the easter eggs!! 🍳🍳🍳
- ALLY course; students, usually inherent, train to aid and assist HERO’s in their journeys, learning survival skills, strategy, fighting as well as further enhancing any magical abilities they usually have (shale takes those periods to tinker on her experiments, her one advantage over her inherent peers and Farah, though from a family as old as the city, often has to be reminded that she’s there to learn to fight, not create pretty things.) - HERO course: In this course, students train to become leaders, to take action where the world needs it, to bring help to those unfortunate, honing their diplomacy and martial arts skills in equal measure. (Not that Dana needs it, non-inherent or not, she is top of all her classes. wanted to design Taako so he’s a bit more layered up, with more spaces to hide gold and the cloak of the mantaray, and i thought i’d mess with the idea of lich lup at the same time. glowy bones!
emergency commission for Mallory I designed their Drow Kailena, as well as the full set of armour, which pronounces her the avatar of vengeance for her goddess, The Lady, whose emblem is a skull on a crescent moon (hence the helmet and moon plates). This was amazingly fun to design and create, this is a portfolio piece for sure! ✨(hit me up if you want a commission!)✨ ☕(or buy me a coffee?)☕
more band members Snug is super enthusiastic about everything, a very happy person and before being asked to join, was the bands number 1 fan. Snug does sound as well as back up vocals, and they’re very good, coming from a musical family. Their favourite genre is lo-fi but doesn’t mind what they play as a band as long as they’re included. Tomas was dragged into the band by Snug, though he doesn’t really mind, as long as it makes his partner happy. He is genuinely talented at the ukelele as well as the banjo and just rolls along with whatever. Generally a quiet dude, he only really pitches in when puns and dirty jokes are applicable. Pete is the rhythm guitarist, so Nick’s second and is happy that way. The idea of being pushed to the front of the band is terrifying and she likes supporting her friend. She and Nick are best friends and go way back, been playing since they were kids, putting on shows for their parents. Pete is easy going and kind of lets people walk over her, cause she just wants others to be happy. This happens less now she’s dating Farhana, who encourages her to be more confident in her abilities. My work, from If we Shadows
