I tend to imagine the Magus with a beard - and with hair more closely cropped than what I drew here. I'm thinking he let himself go a bit during the events of The Thief because he was busy worrying about the state of Sounis (the kingdom - and lbr probably also the king haha).
Preview 1 of 3 things that I worked on for @rise-fashion-zine, which is open for preorders till Nov 15th!
This first one was my application pitch - it turned into a three-page collab in the style of a "magazine interview" that'll take readers through a day in the life of the Resistance's tech team. (Bad Future timeline, whoo!!)
You can expect to see: a full-spread illustration inspired by a high fashion photoshoot (and featuring six characters), fits inspired by techwear/industrial fashion, and three smaller snapshot-esque illustrations - all of which accompany the truly inspired interview portions written by @eternalglitch and mobu. Couldn't have packed in as much detail as I did without the support of @imaginecroc and geno.shu, who generously lent their creative energies towards oufit and environment concepts. <3
