Did you delete some of your work? :c
I did.
However! Everything I deleted (except my Snape one-shots (bc I consider them an incomplete collection atm) & my Feyd-Rautha fic (bc it was only 1 chapter & thus also part of an incomplete series)) can be found on my AO3! (If anyone wants me to upload Snape or Feyd, just ask & I will!)
I also deleted all my idea posts, bc my ideas masterlist just looked like a giant to-do list to me, & was stressing me out. I was also paranoid that someone may come along & steal said ideas before I myself got a chance to write them.
I mostly wanted to downsize my fandom masterlist, bc I want to start focusing more on specific fandoms & characters, I think.
Do you think y/n are the same as OCs? Or just a variation of OCs?
I feel like the only real difference between the two is that OCs are typically given names & described in detail.
Y/Ns I do feel are OCs of a sort, as we the authors do give them their own stories & personalities, just not names (first names, at least), or many physical characteristics, if any.
how would aemond react if aegon starts showing interest in SG
I wouldn't see Aegon ever actually doing so. But in a hypothetical where he did, he would forbid her from speaking to him.
If Aegon sought her out, Aemond would probably indirectly threaten him, if not keep SG sequestered to their chambers altogether with only he & chosen persons being allowed entrance by his own orders.
anons hate:
— when people have opinions
— good sex (they think only soft intimacy is great)
— when writers do their own thing
— enemies to lovers (they make a drama out of it)
— real life experiences
— when writers don’t do what they want
— real women
— rough sex (they often compared that to rape)
— writers in general
Why are writers so mad and closing ranks when people dont want Jace to be a rapist, abuser, or cheater who uses women? When fics perpetuate rape culture?
ah, yes… a jace anon. i will give you the satisfaction of replying to your message. it's late, i'm sleepy and i don't know if i'm making much sense with what i'm going to tell you but you know what? let's go.
tldr; if george r. r. martin, the creator of the character, did not describe jacaerys velaryon as a r, abuser or cheater (actually, mushroom and sara snow say hello if you are to believe his words), then canonically, he is not. you are bothered by people using dark themes when they are exploring their creativity (they are allowed to do so and you're not being forced to enjoy), and i have yet to see any popular authors or popular works or trends or anything attempting to normalise or perpetuate whatever said dark themes. authors are bothered because anons are bothered that they are writing about him as a frat boy or a non-virgin and not the very image of chivalry.
“people don’t want jace to be” does your perception of him change because of someone else’s portrayal? why would someone else’s interpretation of a character bother you so much if that is not what you believe of him?
What’s dom jace’s safe word?
Was that fic technically dubcon? She kept telling him to stop and that it hurt too much
I don't know, as I just randomly wrote that fic in like 15 minutes one day out of nowhere. Probably something in High Valyrian.
And no, it's not. I tagged it cnc at the top, which is the acronym for consensual non-consent. She had a safe word that she knew she could use at any time, but was opting not to in that moment. The moment she would utter it, Jace would immediately cease, untie her, & give her plenty of loving aftercare.
🌚You see Jace as a switch but what inspired your sub Jace fic? Was it just for fun to explore a different side of him?
Idk, it just came to me. Because I didn't intend things to go in that direction when I started the story. Jace just took things there on his own as I continued to write it in my head.
🌚anon
I was curious what exactly a switch is and what you think switch jace does in the bedroom, especially compared to how you wrote sub jace
Is everyone either a sub, hard/soft dom or a switch?
I'd assume that if you know the terms, then you know their definitions. Sub, dom, & switch are terms used in the BDSM community for power-play dynamics. And no, not everyone would need to identify with one, or any of those terms.
As for what switch Jace would be like during intimate moments, I'm not entirely sure, because I've only written him as one or the other: sub or dom. But because of that fact, I can headcanon him as being capable of being a switch.
You can call me🌚anon if you want. I just love your sub Jace fic and wanted to talk about him with you
Well, I had 4 asks I just deleted & idk if they were all from you. But because of the nature of a couple, I assumed it was the Jace anon. It's difficult now to respond in good faith to certain asks when you begin to suspect that it's them.
Glad you enjoyed. I know one ask wanted to know my headcanons about switch Jace. I assume that one at the very least was you, then?
Please don’t delete the Jace sub fic, that is a work of art
I'm not! I know a lot has disappeared from on here in the last couple of days, but everything that I deleted was put on AO3.
And the only reason I deleted everything I did was due to the posts either not getting much attention to begin with, or because I felt like the pieces weren't all that great.
For some fics, I know the writing was good, but because I'm centering this blog more around specific fandoms going forward, (HotD, The Boys (Homelander, more specifically), Stranger Things (Billy Hargrove, my beloved), and maybe eventually Far Cry V, etc), I deleted them to like...down-size my masterlist.
