A lot of horrific things happen in RotE but nothing has filled me with as much dread as the scene in Fitz and the Fool where Bee gets taken through the pillar with Dwalia and the others (whose names are escaping me) and they get trapped under the rubble.
The tranced soldier is full on trying to assault the White girl, people are having bodily functions, the soldier offers to strangle Bee because ‘it’s going to get bad in here soon’ ????
Truly the most horrifying scene.
