studying hard or hardly studying? had a really great group study session today with my friends for the upcoming exam (only 5 more days!)
today was my last day of classes for the year! i wish i had more pictures to commemorate but i was super busy and i am so tired... classes may be over but i still have assignments and an exam to study for!
well... i don’t know how this challenge works or if missing a day means i’ve failed but i want to keep going with this! even if it might be a bit too much to handle! yesterday really was a bit of a mess but today was a HUGE reset day, got to do a huge clean and eat good food and spend some time with myself planning + thinking which is all really important for keeping my mental health up! i’ve missed going to nice cafe’s and appreciating the pretty, soft moments in my life
my life feels like such a mess right now! only one more week of classes and then i can get my shit together! until then it’s more deadlines, more drafts, more edits, more words...
remember rest days are just as important as productive days! working on your hobbies, self-improvement, and general physical/mental wellbeing are some of the most long-term productive things you can do!
a late start to the day! i’m stuck with zero ideas for a scene i need to submit to my workshop group tonight (i’ve been trying all week to write it! short stories are a real challenge for me) today has really felt like the longest day ... going to make sure i do a facemask and spend some time on my switch tonight to wind down!
one of my goals for 2019 was to participate in this challenge, and while i didn’t mean to leave it until the last 100 days of the year, i’m excited to push and challenge myself to get the most out of the end of the year and appreciate all my hard work on the daily!! i hope some of y’all will join me in making the last 100 days of the year the best they can be!!
my weekend assigned readings are quite diverse ... from jane eyre, to lolita, to twilight ... yes, i am rereading twilight for an assignment. the wonders of doing an arts degree.
break is basically over … racing to finish jane eyre before tuesday while also squeezing in as many parties/social plans as i can!
most recent physical reads and the cutest vintage satchel i found thrifting!
more essay writing and more coffee and some extra planning for the change of months coming up in 2 days
handed in a short story about ghosts and grief and now working on my romanticism literature essay
productive study posts will be back soon but i will continue to laze in the sun and read every morning ...
do something nice to start your day, and your week
whenever i come home for break my mom makes sure to leave her book recommendations on my bed :,)
busy packing for my trip tomorrow and studying for my test this afternoon and then it’s finally mid sem break!!!
