this so goes along with that awesome little thread that shows how no matter what regina felt toward snow, she still trusted her with henry, more than pretty much anybody else. henry and emma are the peacemakers in this story. giving regina her family and ending the blood feud. 

Can we just talk about Snow’s face? 

"Damn she’s actually badass when we are on the same side and it’s not me she’s trying to ruin." "She does truly love her child."

As she felt the cortex brush her scalp, Regina remembered her nightmare that seemed like centuries ago. She remembered the fear she felt when her enemy’s fingers pressed against her throat and realised that the comforting feeling of Emma’s shoulder against her makes her much more afraid than that.

#i can’t help but be in awe of regina as a mom #a selfish character who put herself and her revenge above all else gave up all of it #all of her control #over this little boy #her everything #her reason to smile #her reason to feel loved again #all without expecting nothing in return #in fact she knew that allowing him in her life might mean the destruction of her so carefully planned revenge #the revenge that cost her the life of the one person she still had left that she loved and that loved her back #she knew it but still she looked at him #looked at his chubby smiling face #and she put him first #she did everything in her power to give him his best chance at happiness
