Jujube’s sweeter side. Like so many unwanted animals, we found Jujube posted for free on Craigslist. She was neglected, her hooves overgrown, and her body severely overweight. Now safe at Animal Place, Jujube brings smiles to our faces every day. This girl has the best, most raucous donkey laugh!

Here’s Charlene, one of our most popular residents, looking majestic on her 17th birthday! Charlene moved from Vacaville to Grass Valley, experienced love in her 12-year relationship with Laura the goat, and celebrates her longevity with strolls around the pasture. She is lucky to get treats and extra love from her caregivers. Happy birthday, Charlene!
