Who is more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows him?

I'll never forget watching this scene.

Obi-Wan spoke about his birth family for the first time ever on screen. He has flashes of memories, "my mother's shawl, my father's hands. I remember a baby... Yes, I think I had a brother."

When Leia asked if he was her real father, I think I stopped breathing while I listened to his response. "I wish I could say I was, but no, I'm not." Just let the gravity of that confession marinate in your brain for a while.

There were several writers listed for this episode. All I can say is whichever one was responsible for this scene, I'm grateful for their quiet skill. The moment wasn't too dramatic. It was real. It revealed much by saying very little. It was beautiful.

Is it better if Leia just legitimately never learns to see Anakin's ghost, but actually CAN see Yoda's and Obi-Wan's, or if Leia does learn to see Anakin's ghost but just actively pretends she can't see or hear him ever despite clearly being able to see and hear Yoda and Obi-Wan?

They are both equally funny in slightly different ways, I can't pick a favorite.

That moment where Leia asks Obi-Wan if he’s her real dad was so deeply profound to me because of course she would think that. Obi-Wan was the first man Leia ever saw in her whole life. The first man to hold her after she was born. To look at her with love and concern and the desire to ensure she was kept safe. She’s so intuitive and it’s a natural conclusion since somewhere deep in her subconscious her very first memory involves being cradled in his hands.
