Hi my name is Lime Green Jared Leto Joker Banksy and I have short green hair (that’s how I got my name) and icy blue eyes that are like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like marilyn manson (AN: if you don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I have pale white skin. I’m also a criminal and go to an asylum called Arkum in GOTHam. I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I love hot topic and buy all my clothes from there. Today I was wearing a purple leather jacket and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, and black eyeliner. I even hav black teeth. I have lots of goffick tattoos with skullz and other goffick symbols.I was walking outside arkum. It was snowing and raining, so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. Batman stared at me. I put up my middle finger at him.

hi, so i'm not... exactly new to the hp fandom, but i haven't been here since the beginning, either. i was just wondering if you could explain what "my immortal" is? i've seen mentions of it on my dash and i'm very confused. thanks!! :)
If someone who loved Hot Topic, vampires, and Draco Malfoy but hated plot, grammar, and their readers wrote a fanfic while being hyped on tracker-jacker venom, that’s my immortal. 30+ chapters of misery. It’s either the worst fanfiction ever written or the best troll in the history of the fandom. Quite possibly both. You shouldn’t waste time reading it, really. It’s that bad. But if you want to, here. But please don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Never read My Immortal, and I’m never going to. However, there’s a web series based on the fic that might be funny despite the source material. Haven’t watched it, but I’ll admit that I’m curious.
EVERYONE should watch My Immortal!! (@ani-mage maybe you especially). The folks at @myimmortalseries didn’t make a straight recreation of the fic. Oh, no no. They took maybe the crackiest, possibly trolliest fic of maybe ever in the HP fandom and turned it into this beautiful thing full of feels and queerness and racebending. It’s such a loving treatment of the tropes and crackiness, and it’s also got real heart and some types of representation that are well done and not very easy to come by. And it’s funny and a take on a fandom classic, and the outtakes are priceless and for a bunch of goffs they came up with a pretty sweet soundtrack too. Totally recommend.
All right, you’ve convinced me, @dictacontrion. I was just looking at the website, and I’m especially interested in the racebending. I’m just starting a research project about racebending meta/fanart, so this could be really helpful since there’s very little racebending fic!
