I really love the color on the right-most pullet. What do you call that pattern/color - the deep black body with the lighter head and neck?

She's actually a mature hen, the two on the left are pullets! The color is called silver birchen. On a gold base they call it "brown red" rather than gold birchen for some reason.

This is that hen's daughter from this year who ended up with a gold base.

I love when they stand like this. Head down, butt up. Classic chicken pose.
