I totally recommend this mindset btw. You should let yourself be overconfident in trying out new skills as long as theyre not life threatening or expensive. Go fucking bonkers. Worst thing thatll happen is that it looks like shit.
Additionally: anything can be a beginner project if you're willing to suffer <3
Made an amigurumi of the character Spiffo, the adorable raccoon mascot for the gritty and dark zombie survival game Project Zomboid!

Made this little guy based off of this pattern and he turned out hella cute and I’m super happy with it so I’m gonna put what I did up here in case anyone else is interested.
