everytime i think about the coolidges my heart shatters into a million pieces. i don’t think calvin ever really recovered after his son’s death. some people cite how he would for 12+ hours a day as an example of how he was “lazy” but his sleeping patterns only expanded due to grief over calvin jr’s death.
grace and calvin are the perfect example of opposites attract. you cannot get anymore perfect than them. they're just that good

i only wish that people paid more attention to presidents that werent from the early presidential days or newer age presidential days. why dont you show some love to calvin coolidge !?
i even more so deeply wish people would show love to the first ladies. all of them actually. i love first ladies but no one ever makes much content of them bc its usually presidentcentric. i would kill to see one drawing of margaret taylor or harriet lane or grace coolidge or frances cleveland or lucy hayes. i would kill and die for it.
