She/Her ☆ 32yo I'm a Tired™ college student trying to get my second major, this time in something that I actually love. I'm back on my anime/manga era, and I have 0 regrets; however, Tolkien will always be in my heart. English is not my first language.
Just now I was thinking about Shigaraki finding Dabi laying in the bathtub, fully clothed and with the shower spraying him to help him cool down. Shigaraki stares at him for a full minute before he decides to climb into the tub, too, and they end up laying there together in a gangly-limbed contortionist's wet dream of a cuddle to make them both fit.
Toga eventually comes across them because both the bathroom door and the shower curtain are open. She peeks in and they've managed to doze off, despite the freezing shower. There's water everywhere. She leaves them there.
When WWX and LWJ call each other by their courtesy names at the end of episode 20, it's like watching their souls shattering into a million tiny tiny pieces that will never be glued together in the right places AND IT HURTS
The rainstorm was one of the worst that New York had seen in ages. Tony sat on the observation deck of the tower, shielded from the rain by an awning. He had needed a few moments to himself, in a lull between the rains. Then they had started again and here he was, trapped on top of a tower with only a tarp protecting him from the elements.
Life had become so difficult lately. After Thanos, everything just seemed so dull. Even the victories that they’d had, the return of a semi-normal life on earth, seemed hollow.
“It’s been a wild ride, hasn’t it?”
Tony jolted out of his thoughts. He turned and saw Loki standing there, a smirk on his face.
“You can say that again,” Tony murmured. Yep, the only one crazy enough to be on his roof in the middle of a rainstorm was Loki. “And I didn’t even die…”
“Rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated.”
“You know those weren’t his exact words…”
“Whose?”
“Nevermind,” Tony laughed. “What are you doing up here?”
“I followed you.”
“Never not creepy, just so you know,” Tony replied instantly, leaning back. “I came up here before it started pouring again. Got caught in this.”
“It’s a nice night,” he said. “I noticed that your kind isn’t exactly fond of the rain. I enjoy it.”
“It’s quiet, kind of peaceful.”
“It is,” Loki agreed. He then glanced from the downpour to Tony. “You’re not doing so well, are you?”
“I’m…okay,” he said, finding that no words could really express his level of frustration. Everything was fine again, and they were breathing. Those he loved were back in his grasp again, but at the same time things felt increasingly hollow. “Or, I suppose as okay as I can be. How about you?”
“Alive.”
Then, Loki surprised him. He was pretty sure he was one of the only beings in the galaxy that could anymore. The god stepped forward, grasped Tony by the face and pulled him into a kiss. The kiss was intense, but surprisingly gentle. Loki brushed ah and over his cheek and smiled against his lips.
“Why did you do that?” Tony asked with a gasp.
Loki shrugged, a gentle gesture. It was kind of sweet, something that made Tony laugh.
