I can't elaborate more right now because I'm SHOCKED, but I'll be posting during the weekend my reactions (I don't think I'll come up with any theory till I rewatch it and I don't feel strong enough to do so in anytime soon)

How do some TDP characters perceive Rayllum?

(I'm gonna redeem her for fanfic purposes, but I'm still curious).

“We could get creative!” Exclaimed Callum, slashing his hand through the air.

Ezran, Soren, and Opeli exchanged a look

“I don’t know,” said his brother hesitantly “We already have the prison with us, I don’t think Aaravos can escape, so why waste time going for the Nova Blade?”

“It’s not wasting time, Ezran,” said the mage more severely “Let’s call it a backup plan”

“It’s a violent plan if I may say. Aaravos can’t get out on his own, so he needed Claudia and Viren, now he’s out of reach from them, nobody here would want to set him free, we’re safe Callum.” Ezran was using his kingly tone on him, which only helped to make him feel more anxious, his brother wasn’t understanding anything.

“Ezran I know you want peace, but killing Aaravos is not gonna affect anything, quite the contrary, it’ll help the world to be a better place” He added.

“Do we even know for sure this Nova Blade will work?” Interfered Opeli “Because if it’s just a theory it might not be worth the risk”

Rayla was about to answer, but Callum cut her off “Yes! Of course, it will work! It’s star magic”

Ezran glanced at Rayla “Say what you were about to say” he asked her.

Rayla looked at Callum, he begged her internally to agree with him.

Taking a deep breath and choosing her words wisely she focused her attention on Ezran “Callum found out about the Nova Blade at the Great Bookery of Lux Aurea, so the information should be ninety percent reliable”

Callum hummed in victory.

“What about the other ten percent, huh? We can’t risk it. Not when we no longer need to take any” Ezran massaged his temples.

“Callum I’m sure we can find a good hiding place, one no one will ever consider even looking for” added Soren “We can avoid using any type of magic at all”

Callum closed his eyes tightly “And what then? We pass the secret to our children and tell them to never tell anyone and pass it on for generations? Are we really gonna put that burden on them?”

Prince Callum is in love with Rayla, save yourself the pain and move on from him, there are plenty of other men and women who would love to date you.

“It’s just a friendly gesture” She interrupted him “I’m over him.”

His uncle didn’t say anything back. Taylor started decorating the cake. It was covered in strawberry meringue, and at the center, she accommodated some pieces of chocolate and fruits. And on top of it, she wrote a little note for him: Happy birthday Prince Callum, and some small hearts around it. Ultimately, she put it on a silver plate.

“I’ll be back!” She announced to her uncle as she grabbed the plate and rushed out of the kitchen. By this time she’d almost memorized the prince’s schedule, so she knew by this hour he would be in his office.

On her way there, she felt some kind of anticipation coming from the guards and staff. Even more so when she heard the high cleric giving orders to some guards, something about the forest, all that chatting was making her even more nervous. When she finally was outside the High Mage’s office, she heard someone inside.

“Callum said it would be here!” Said King Ezran.

“Maybe we should wait for him” proposed Soren, it was easy to recognize his voice.

“Yeah, we can distract Rayla and he can come.”

Rayla? What were they talking about? Taylor bitted her lower lip. Should she knock to let them know she was there? Or should she stay silent and wait to know what was happening?

A blush crept over to his cheeks, but nothing compared to the redness of Rayla’s. A small smile appeared on his lips remembering that night.

I'm starting to edit some videos in honor of Callum's birthday on Monday

I'm not ready for the time Ezran grows and gets taller than Rayla.

Soren has always been taller than her so whatever. BUT Callum just now surpassed her, and there's nothing wrong with it, it's just nostalgic 'cause it shows how much they've grown up. How much he has grown up since she left. And Ezran still has much growing up to do, so when he gets to 17-20, would he be taller than Rayla?

I'm gonna cry if they show us this. It would be so, so nostalgic 'cause Rayla used to be the taller one, and then she would be the smallest one. And I just can't-

Ezran and Rayla.

It's hilarious how both Ezran and Callum trusted Rayla more than Claudia.

These two boys have met Rayla for a week and Claudia for several years, yet Callum chooses to trust Rayla and follow her plan to know if Claudia and Soren are trustworthy or not (In s2).

Ezran chooses to follow Rayla to the roof in the first episodes rather than trusting Claudia and handling the egg.

I think a lot about what Rayla and Claudia's bond could've been like if Claudia hadn't betrayed the boys and given a chance to Rayla.

Would they have a dynamic like Soren has with Rayla?

I mean, for them to be friends Claudia would've needed to quit doing dark magic 'cause there's no way Rayla could stand being friends with someone who uses dark magic at the level Claudia does.

Would Claudia tell Rayla embarrassing stories of when Callum was a child?

Would it have been difficult for Claudia to accept Rayla and Callum as a couple or would she be like "ok, fair, I lost my chance, and Rayla is perfect for him" or be a little more resilient till she realizes how madly in love Callum is with Rayla?

How much time would pass till they accepted to be friends? How would everyone react to that unexpected friendship?

We should discuss this more as a fandom

Rayla teaching Ezran to do silly and not-so-king-likely stuff is an absolute yes for Soren and I, and a no for Opeli
