Never ever be normal about fictional characters but please GOD be normal about the people who play them, I am begging you

#don’t treat fictional characters like they’re real people whose rights you need to defend#and absolutely DO NOT treat real people like they’re just characters for you to get weird about

Idols are real people. Shipping them, insisting you know their secret sexual identity ect ect has real world consequences. Its A) none of our business and B) none of our business!! Unless they’ve explicitly stated. But even then…please treat them like a normal person. They don’t owe anyone a single explanation about their private lives. Especially when it may not be safe to talk about in public? Especially when shipping them with other idols makes their lives difficult and can ruin their friendships??
