7. What inspired the idea for the plot?
So, the first installation, Home, was written for a friend who was going through a tough time and I knew they loved a good Thranto!Dad story. From there I just fell in love with them and had to keep playing in the universe!
Green Soup and Ham was inspired by my own mother's terrible time making home made chicken noodle soup lol
I think the rest have all been little brain worms that have burrowed into my head and declared loudly to be written!
11. Was there a scene you hadn't originally planned to include? Why did you decide to fit it in?
Honestly, I never intended to include Granular at all. I knew I wanted Consequence to be 3 chapters. But, originally, when Eli dismisses Thrawn at the end of chapter 3 (you know, the part that killed all of us including me) he was supposed to turn to him and they were going to come back together to be a united front for Thunhe.
It just felt too easy to end it that way--like, Eli did awful terrible things and I think that he would have been spinning out to hard in the end to see his actions. So, the ending of Consequence was changed and Granular was born!
12. Was there a scene you wished you could have included? Why didn't it fit in?
Funny you ask this because the next installation has been at a standstill because I can't decide where to put it lol. It's a story of how Thunhe and Mid Captain Afwik have a sordid love affair (even though he is married and she is like a very junior officer). I think it fits best after Operation RomCom, but then I think I would have to rewrite their exchange in Consequence. OR, I could put it after Granular and it would be more improper coping mechanisms from Thunhe (which, truthfully, I feel bad writing about... again lol)
I don't know if that makes any sense, but thank you so much for the ask!! I love getting to talk about writing :D
