Okay, but AmphiSei who has an open relationship so people often assume that ‘oh, they must not love each other that much’ but then see Poseidon literally drop everything every time he sees Amphitrite to run at her & Amphitrite also dropping everything to catch them & them being so happy & genuine as they hugged & spun each other around like they were mortal teenagers/a young couple who were still forever in their first stages of pure, obsessive love

And so the others are now like ‘oh…’ (confused) but the Siblings are just like ‘yeah…’ bc they’re a fond sort of used to it (it happens to them all the time too)

I love Amphitrite and Poseidon being lovesick and obsessed with each other. They are the relationship the other gods envy because they have worked out all of their problems and are experiencing their marriage in a way that makes them both really happy.

Also tall wife Amphitrite supremacy (Poseidon loves his tall beautiful monster wife)

Zeus and Hera wish they had what Amphitrite and Poseidon have

amphitrite /Ἀμφιτρίτη/ • goddess and queen of the sea.

“Goddess of the Sea, please be with me, so if I ever must flee, your waves will hold me.
Fair beauty of the oceans, I will tell you my emotions, and in loyal devotion, I’ll be set in motion.
I’ll dance with the water, while you sleep, underwater. and with your dolphin daughters, I pray for those still waters.”

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology

Amphitrite (Αμφιτριτη meaning ‘Encircling Third’) was the queen of the sea, wife of Poseidon (god of the sea), and eldest of the fifty Nereids (sea nymphs) in Greek mythology. When Poseidon first sought Amphitrite’s hand in marriage, she fled his advances, and hid herself away near Atlas in the ocean stream at the far ends of the earth. Delphin (god of the dolphins) eventually tracked her down and persuaded her to return to wed the sea-king which resulted in the birth of their son Tritôn. Sadly not much else is known about Amphitrite but she does show up in various works of art from the time. In them she always wears the robes of a queen, and carries a three-pointed sceptre called a Trident.
