Kaya’aton’my’s Campsite – Sims 4

Inspired by an illustration in Welcome to Kaya’s World of a Summer Nimiipuu camp, I made a lot for my Kaya family to live on! It includes a river for fishing, several trees, and three “tipi tent” houses!

Notes:

  • No CC!
  • Meant for a 65x65 lot. Pictures are from Henford-on-Bagley.
  • Lot Traits include Bracing Breezes to add a skill to Kaya’s wellness and energy, Breeding Ground to increase chances of puppies, and Eco Lot, along with the Off-the-Grid challenge.
  • I did my best to be accurate to the biome and exterior; unfortunately there’s not a lot I can do about the interiors with the limited base game items. I designed one tipi to be Kaya’s family tipi with a bed for each family member, a tipi for indoor eating, and one for dancing, but the latter areas are quite empty and can easily be customized!
  • We have a horseshoe throwing area, guitars, woodworking and archeology benches, swingset and wooden dollhouse.
  • Each tipi has a campfire, with an outdoor BBQ Searer near the garden.
  • The garden is growing several Trees of Emotions, Taro Roots, Valerian Roots, Kava Shrubs, and Carrots. I tried to get blueberry bushes in but got bored of trying to find them so I added the Emotion Trees.
  • The river is fishable, as fishing’s a large part of Nimiipuu hunting! It of course has salmon, but also has bass, perch, trout and walleye! It’s also got a few swans swimming around...

The American Girl Club (Historical Edition) – Sims 4

Inspired by the American Girls Virtual Museum, we have a mansion hangout for all the Historical American Girl Dolls! Each doll (except the best friends, who hang out with their besties ofc) has their own little hangout area, based on the Virtual Museum if possible. The house is fully functional with four bathrooms, a kitchen, and a bed for each doll (incl. best friends) in the attic slumber party room!

Notes:

  • There is a lot of CC from @historicalfictionsims​‘s AG Drive– all used are listed under the cut.
  • Meant for a 50x40 lot. Pictures are from Del Sol Valley.
  • Lot Traits include Child’s Play, Convival and Good Schools.

Riverfront Community Center - Sims 4

The main hangout for the WBU girls– this actually took a while to make lol! It has the greenhouse, the showcase room, food pantry, and bonus library! The walls are also filled with empty murals for your sims to get creative with!

Notes:

  • No CC! You may have to check “include CC,” though, as I added a custom thumbnail. That may flag it, though the center itself has nothing in it.
  • Meant for a 40x30 lot. Pictures are from Willow Creek.
  • Lot traits include Teen Neighborhood (teens will LOVE to hang out here!), Sunny Aspect (everyone feels happier and more energized here) and Home Studio (artistic talents are learned faster!)
  • First floor has hangout spot, café, food pantry/kitchen, greenhouse and storage closet
  • Second floor has the showroom, three bathrooms, a library, a creativity room, and a lil meeting room in the corner
  • The hangout spot is based on both beginning book illustrations and the sets for sale. The café outside the food pantry is based on the illustration of Maritza and Violetta in Lead with Your Heart, while the Showroom is based on the final illustration in See Me, Hear Me, Know Me.
  • There are also several tire planters from Evette!

Evette Peeters’s House - Sims 4

Continuing my WBU girl builds, we have Evette! The front of her house was shown in the first illustration, and a bit of her bedroom can be seen in the vignettes, but the rest had to be interpretive! I’m not sure if I’ll post what I made for Maritza onto the gallery– it was entirely interpretive– but if enough people want it I will! I will be working on Corinne next– expect a lot of Snowy Escape!

Notes:

  • No CC!
  • Meant for a 30x20 lot. Pictures are from Willow Creek. 
  • First floor has a little foyer with one of Evette’s tire planters, a small living room, kitchen and bathroom. Second floor has everyone’s bedrooms and another bathroom. 
  • The front yard was described early on in Evette’s book, and includes her maple tree and a signpost to thank essential workers-- I don’t have anything on it atm so feel free to design how you like! The back yard, which is entirely interpretive, has a gardening area, and two rocking chairs for Evette’s grandmas to knit on when they come to visit.
  • Lot traits include Great Soil in order to help Evette and her family garden!

Makena Williams’s House - Sims 4

Turns out I liked making Blaire’s house, so. I’m gonna be doing a couple more of the contemporary girls, since @historicalfictionsims​​ has the historicals covered! This was a bit easier than Pleasant View Farms, as this had a couple illustrations to go with it I could make a base of.

Notes:

  • No CC!
  • Meant for a 30x30 lot. The pictures I took are all in Windenburg, though in my game I put all the WBU girls in Willow Creek.
  • First floor has a foyer, living room, and their large kitchen/dining room, based on the illustration from Chapter One. Second floor has the family’s bedrooms and an extra bathroom.
  • Lot traits include Chef’s Kitchen, Homey (both due to Makena’s family being chefs), and Fast Internet (due to Makena’s online presence).

Pleasant View Farms Bed-and-Breakfast - Sims 4

While working on Blaire’s aesthetic for my aes series, I got inspired to make her farm on Sims; while it’s unfortunately never illustrated, it’s the major setting for her story and the books are very good at making it seem like a peaceful, calming place. So I did my best to recreate what little description we got into a Sims build– with the bonuses of the Wedding Barn, a chicken coop and animal pen, and an outdoor dining area based on Blaire’s Family Farm Restaurant.

I had a lot of fun with this– I made myself Makena and Evette’s houses as well, and I’ll be posting them soon!

Notes:

  • No CC! While it uses several packs, it mainly uses Cottage Living and Dine Out.
  • Meant for a 64x64 lot. Mine is in Henford-on-Bagley.
  • First floor of the inn has the reception area, dining room, two kitchens (official and for family use), three bathrooms, Grandpa Ben’s bedroom, two storage closets, a “boiler room” and a stairwell and elevator. Second floor has six hotel rooms for guests, seven bathrooms (six of which are attached to rooms), a laundry room I did my best with as I don’t have the laundry set yet, and another stairwell. Third floor has Blaire’s room, her parents’ room, Beckett’s room, an extra office and windowed study.
  • I believe Blaire’s room was supposed to be on the first floor in the book, but there was already so much on the first floor and I thought as her room was partially windowed it would make more sense to be on the top floor, so I made the top floor into her immediate family’s rooms with a bonus office; her grandfather’s room being on the first floor is relevant to the opening chapter, so it remains down there beside their second kitchen.
  • Lot Traits include Chef’s Kitchen (due to Blaire and her mother being very focused on baking), Great Soil (for the family farm) Fast Internet (bc of Blaire’s technological addiction)
  • The stairwell in the books is a play kitchen for the kids. I don’t have a play kitchen on Sims 4, so I just put a table, chairs and toybox.
