Hello Fic Readers!

I am here to convince you that you want to read my new Alphabet of Samcedes Stories. (It’s one story for each letter of the alphabet, thus the name of the series.)

I am super excited about this series, and even though it’s a less-popular ship than some others, I really think these will appeal to a wide variety of readers, even if you’ve never read Samcedes, never shipped Samcedes, or honestly even if you’re not a Gleek.

I started shipping them because of who they were as individuals: a strong, independent woman who knows what she wants from life, and a dorky, hopeless romantic who adores her and is willing to do whatever it takes. When they decided to spend a week apart (without talking) to think through some things, they both ended up watching the clock to count down the last seconds until they could be back together. They faced distance, discrimination, dating other people, and everyone around them saying that it couldn’t work, but they kept gravitating toward each other anyway. And they always built each other up and supported each other’s dreams, even if it was hard. THAT is the love story I adored, and wanted to retell in 26 new ways.

These are love stories of all sorts. New love, established love, steamy love, cuddly love, childhood best friends, and parents.

The stories are fluffy, funny, and every once in a while there’s a little (just a little) bit of angst.

There are friends-to-lovers stories, enemies-to-lovers stories, and star-crossed lovers stories.

You’ll find modern settings (high school, Broadway, neighbors, dentists, kitchen witches, and assassins). There is fantasy, science fiction, fairy tales, and a touch of the supernatural, as well as references to Greek mythology, Doctor Who, and Firefly.

I hope you will take a look!  They are all posted here. I have several posted so far, and will keep posting several per week until they are finished. Every story is different and stands alone, and I’m pretty sure there is something for everyone in here.

Sometimes it was nice, like tonight, with Quinn sitting in the far bed reading aloud from one of the Magic Tree House books, her hands playing with Stacey’s hair as Sam’s little sister fell asleep in her lap. And with Kurt over in the tiny “study nook,” really just a wooden board that stretched across one wall and acted like a countertop, but Kurt had made it somewhere special. Tonight he’s teaching Stevie how to “transform your workspace into the coolest fort”—after studying, of course. (Sam hadn’t known at first exactly what all that meant, but it involved Finn’s old Star Wars sheets and some ridiculous throw pillows from what Kurt called “the worst makeover idea ever.”) And, you know, it felt normal, like, hanging out with his friends and playing with the younger kids. It was alright.

But then, you know, sometimes it sucked, too. He hadn’t even started his own homework, and he had to leave his friends in the room a little longer so he could shower after finishing his shift at Roman Delight. And, honestly, geometry was messing him up. Measuring angles and all was cool, but then you had to explain how you knew it. How’s everyone in Lima doing? Have you been by McKinley at all? I’m loving being on tour, the bus is amazing and having Brittany here makes it easier, it’s nice to have someone who knows me. I still can’t believe you’re back in Ohio. According to Kurt, I’m not the only one missing you, so make sure you give Blaine a call.  Our next stop is in  a mall in Atlanta, and I’m really excited, I’ve always wanted to go there. If you see Mr. Schue, tell him I said hi!

Send me pictures of your bus! I’ve seen on TV how tricked out they are, like Pimp My bus or something. Does yours have a disco ball?  When you guys come here, you have to let me see the bus. I’ve always wanted to have a party on a tour bus.

Before I forget, Unique, Marley, Jake, Kitty and Ryder told me to tell you hi, and Unique told me to tell you that she’s been playing your song constantly. And Marley wants me to tell you that she’s written four new songs this week.
