Samcedes and Kurtofsky
You know, I was thinking… Remember how random that little fight/spat between Sam and Blaine was?
What if it wasn’t random?
What if when Samcedes finally happens, this means that Mercedes will share Sam’s opinion of Blaine - which can’t be good?
And since Mercedes is Kurt’s best friend…
I know, I’m holding onto wishful thinking, but…
*sigh*
I just want Dave back…and hopefully some Kurtofsky…
I'm going to be honest, I don't really see the bolded happening. There are a lot of reasons why.
- Sam and Blaine appeared to be friends towards the end of HOTS and Yes/No.
- Blaine tried to include Mercedes in their discussion during "The Substitute". He always appears happy when he sees her performing (Night of Neglect, Extraordinary Merry Christmas). He was also saddened when she defected to Ms. Corcoran in Pot O Gold. Mercedes cheered the Warblers on during their competition. She helped Blaine plan the "Somewhere Only We Know" serenade, so they've talked w/o Kurt being there.
- I don't see Mercedes as the type to not like someone just because one of her friends doesn't.
- I don't see Sam as the type to bad mouth anyone. He's kind of a sweetheart. No matter how someone treats them, he forgives them. (see how he reacts to Quinn, Finn, Blaine and Rachel)
- Kurtcedes has died. It's taken me a while to come to terms with this, I still hold hope that it will be resurrected, but the writers have killed it in favor of Hummelberry. Kurt & Mercedes have had zero interaction by themselves this season. Every time that they're on screen together, someone else is there. Also most of their interactions haven't been portrayed positively. i.e. - Kurt telling Mercedes that he's tired of her complaining during "It's Over". Kurt telling Mercedes that he thinks her summer romance sounded like a drag, like he didn't know that this was her first serious relationship. Mercedes telling the glee club (and Kurt in a way) that she's outgrown them, even though I will go to the mat swearing that she didn't mean it in the way that other people take it. Mercedes sole reason for voting Kurt president being portrayed as her not wanting Santana bragging. The writers have been working very hard to erase any trace of Kurtcedes and I find it frustrating. The next (confirmed) interaction that we get with them will be in Spanish Teacher and it's going to be a Hummelberry Jones sleepover.
- Because of everything stated in #5, I don't see Kurt taking any criticism that Mercedes might have of Blaine seriously. Also because of everything stated in #2, I don't really see her having any real complaints, besides the whole solos thing.

I love this video. I would so crackship this. It did break my heart a bit though because I go hard in the paint for Samcedes and Klaine. I still want a Blaincedes friendship though.
Blaine, like Darren, is one of Mercedes' biggest fans!
I want more Blaincedes scenes. Dear RIB, some people in HS have friends. How about showing me that?
