I'm so glad the writers mostly ignore the fans. If we started the season with Kory holding a grudge over Dick and having some kind of forced affair with Sebastian... we wouldn't have gotten any of the scenes we got in episodes 1-3. None.

Eternally grateful DickKory is going down in history as a ship with zero toxicity or love triangles. They simply love and respect each other. It's lit.

Yes they said he mistreated Kory last season and now needed to earn her. So Kory should angrily reject his advances,Sebastian would brainwash her into a relationship, and Dick would be jealous like he deserves. It was a whole thing.

But…I’m not really sure what Dick did to Kory last season though. I tried to figure it out but I just don’t know. I think it has something to do with Babs?

That’s wild 🤔 i tuned in for a fair bit of s3 and he didn’t seem to mistreat her really?? He just wasn’t with her and also they were both doing their own thing, no?

Kory was dealing with the joys of Kom and Dick was stuck in his Gotham ways but they still shared a couple scenes and overall maintained their respect for each other and care towards one another?

Idk about that; every season since s1 has been exactly what they said they would do; Kory would remember who she was and Dick would figure out who he was trying to be and then they’d revisit. They could say the reverse for Kory in earning Dick with Justin in s3 and Faddei in the season before with that logic surely?🤔

Well, I’m in agreement with your original post - good thing they are just leading with Dick and Kory slowly growing closer and recognising their feelings for each other, rather than making it catty and dramatic just for the sake of it.

Also super happy we’re not likely to get Kory and Sebastian cos that’s a super weird combo imo 😂

I read through a lot of posts to try and figure it out and I think they felt he was ignoring her/not telling her things.

But they also called him a man whore a lot so I think it was more about him kissing Babs than anything. Just assuming here though. I don’t think Kory feels entitled to Dick though so I don’t know why that would make her angry enough to willingly date a cult leader to get some affection. But it’s worse because the way the Sebastian/Kory ship was described they wanted him to mind control her into a relationship… not ask her out while fully disclosing his identity ( yikes consent?). The sole purpose was making Dick jealous I didn’t see anyone describe how that would benefit Kory or make her happy to be mindcontrolled into intimate situations with a stranger. It wasn’t really about her it seems just a way to punish Dick. And I mean if Dicks not worthy IDK what he could do to change that. It’s still him even if he’s jealous right? IDGI

But anywho I happen to like soft cuddly sappy Dickkory so I would have been disappointed if the writers ruined that. They are sugary sweet.
