So I’m currently half way through Shadows of the Workhouse by Jennifer Worth and I can’t put it down. It’s possibly one of the saddest books I’ve ever read but it’s so eye opening. I originally brought it from a charity shop for diss reading but have ended up reading it as if it’s for recreational purposes, would highly recommend if you can take some sadness!

Am loving this book, it’s called Orders from Berlin and is written by Simon Tolkien who is actually J R R Tolkien’s grandson. If you like historical fiction I really recommend this book, it’s set during World War Two and is a mystery involving an assination plot against Churchill am currently about 80 pages from finishing ☺️

Currently reading - Northanger Abby So last month I only read one book, I think that was because I was busy getting back into uni, the book I read was The Picture of Dorian Gray which I loved! But I’m feeling very inspired to read again now so hopefully there will be a bigger wrap up at the end of this month ☺️

So I’m currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and I’m loving it, the writing is so beautiful. Also I’ve recently realised that I may be allergic to latex (not the serious can’t breathe kind, just the gives me loads of really painful eczema kind) which means there are now a lot of foods that can cause a reaction, do any of you guys have a similar issue and if so any advice??thank you guys how much☺️

All I do at the moment is read books for uni, this is why I haven’t really been posting about books I’m reading for fun because I just don’t have the time, but it’s one of my New Years resolutions to read more ☺️
