so i finished A Court of Wings and Ruin last night and omg i didn’t realise it was the last one!!!! i don’t know why but for some reason i thought the one coming out in 2021 was and actual book in the series, now i feel so empty and lost 😂😭
spent my day looking at a 17th century diary, what about you?💫
So I just finished A Court of Mist and Fury (second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses Series) and wow! This has quickly become my favourite book series just under Harry Potter (of course haha). I have never felt so emotionally invested in characters before, I’m completely in love. The writing style is gorgeous and on a basic level the story provided me with a bit of escapism I didn’t realise I needed. I ended up relating to the book and Fayre in a way I didn’t feel possible when it’s a story about fairies haha but wow, this book helped me through a lot and I can’t wait to pick the third one up straight away. Please let me know your thoughts, I’d love to chat with you guys about it but please no spoilers for the third one! ✨
THE REPLIES ON THIS POST CONTAIN SPOILERS - please don’t read them if you don’t wanna be spoiled for the second book 😊

So I finished The Name of the Wind (which I loved) and then Romancing the Duke because I have been dying for a good old romance for ages and it definitely fulfilled my need in that sense. I’m now onto the Confessions of Frannie Langton, I’m about 80 pages in and loving it, Sara Collins’ writing style is so beautiful I’m engrossed whenever I pick it up 💫
Currently reading (and loving): The Name of the Wind
I’m currently on page 184 and loving this book so far, it’s so mystical. It’s quite dense so is taking me a while to get through but I’m loving it nonetheless 🧙🏼🔮🌿
Guys! I really need your help, this is my tbr pile, which should I read next?
I’m currently reading this gem! It’s the first book I’ve read in a long time that I struggle to put down, would highly recommend if you like historical fiction. 🔮🌾🧙♀️
(P.s. if anyone knows any other books similar to this please let me know I love this kind of genre, I just finished The King’s Witch by Tracy Bornman and loved that too!)
So I’m currently half way through Shadows of the Workhouse by Jennifer Worth and I can’t put it down. It’s possibly one of the saddest books I’ve ever read but it’s so eye opening. I originally brought it from a charity shop for diss reading but have ended up reading it as if it’s for recreational purposes, would highly recommend if you can take some sadness!
i just finished The Wicked King and oh my life i am an emotional wreck, that book has truly broken me
i think it’s obvious i brought these for the covers but i have no shame
so i’m reading the cruel prince and i am hookedddd
can anyone recommend a good fantasy book or series?
