How am I meant to choose? There are so many.

One of my favorite Benedict moments is when he is ordering Sophie around at the lake scenes. He's authoritative, charming and witty all in one.

Also:

1. Benedict anytime he is rescuing Sophie.

2. Benedict with the tray strategically on his lap.

3. Benedict strangling Araminta.

4. Benedict teasing Sophie.

5. When Benedict was so sick but still trying to be a gentleman at My Cottage with getting the horses put up.

6. The ways Benedict never treated Sophie as a maid.

7. Benedict standing out of respect to the fact he saw Sophie as deserving because he cared for her and put her on a higher level.

8. Benedict not letting Sophie go and being deeply in love with her.

I don't think I posted my favorite Sophie moment yesterday:

I have a lot of favorite Sophie moments and I think most of them have been stated already. At the top of my list is when she is going to throw the spoon at Benedict, calms herself down and winds up throwing the candle stump instead. 😂

I meant to post this yesterday and got busy. Ever since Sophie had in the moment of a discussion with Benedict about him forcing her to stay and she had thrown out about Benedict not really suggesting he would tie her up, he has had it in the back of his mind. Eventually they discuss it one day and they do light bondage with his silk cravats. Also Benedict likes putting blindfolds on Sophie too, reminds him of the masquerade ball.

What is your favourite non-Benophie moment in An Offer from a Gentleman?

It can be interacting with either Benedict or Sophie but not them together…

There are so many moments that are so good.

What first comes to my mind is when Benedict and Colin are fencing. It's a good moment of the two brothers interacting. Though, it ends with basically Colin telling Benedict it shouldn't matter and Benedict realizing that it really doesn't matter. He just wants to be with Sophie regardless of what that means. 🥺

Posey standing up to Araminta is so very good and heartwarming too. 🥺

Oh and Mr. Crabtree telling Benedict he will make sure he doesn't get Mrs. Crabtree's tonic. That whole scene is hilarious. 😂

I simply cannot choose only one quote. There are so many that I adore. This isn't a complete list but here are a few of my more favorite quotes from An Offer from A Gentleman.

If we are talking about any moment in the book, then the whole My Cottage scenes. I love Sophie taking care of Benedict. I love their banter. I love Sophie reading to Benedict. I love Benedict refusing to treat Sophie as a maid. I love that they are so in tune with each other. I love Benedict feeling like he can't let Sophie go. I love that Benedict has a rock collection. I even love that Benedict eats huge breakfasts when he can. There is just so much packed into those scenes that I love.

If we are talking about towards the end when Benedict helps free Sophie from jail, then it would be when he gives her a bath and washes her hair. It's very tender and shows a softer caring side to Benedict. Honestly there are several parts afterwards that are very close too. For example, when Sophie tells Benedict he was the reason she was at the ball and the reason she was born. It solidifies their connection.
