Life is exhausting. I recently realized how long I have been working on Chapter 4 of To Woo the Emerald Princess and that it has been almost two months since I did a WIP update. I'm terribly slow at writing sometimes. Life keeps getting in the way. I am working on Chapter 4 and eventually it will be done. There are so many times I wish I was faster but it is what it is. If it all works out, I will have more time coming up soon to write. 🤞

I figured I would share a small excerpt in the meantime. Please keep in mind this is a rough draft and might change slightly when I edit the chapter.

Writing Update: 05/20/22

I have finished Chapter 3 of To Woo the Emerald Princess and after editing I plan to have it up sometime this weekend. When reaching a certain point (and word count 😂) I decided to make Benedict and Princess Panda's (OC) day into two or three chapters. I will still have the Lady Whistledown note at the end of the chapters too but they probably won't be discussed until later, unlike I have been doing at the beginning of each chapter. I'm changing this up a bit.

With all this said, Chapter 4 might be a few weeks since I'm going on vacation/holiday soon and not sure when I will be able to write. Though, rest assured I will be writing whenever possible and Benedict will always be on my mind. 🥰💗

Last Writing Update

Writing Update: 05/15/22

I'm still working on Chapter 3 of To Woo the Emerald Princess. This past week life happened and I didn't get to write like I thought I would. I wish it was easier for me to write a chapter a week but it just isn't possible for me, especially when I write long chapters. 😂

I've thought about posting what I have written of Chapter 3 and updating it with the rest when I'm done with the chapter. Though, I know that isn't typically how it is done and could get confusing. Would you all want to read part of the chapter now and the rest later when it's finished?

I am still working on a Vampire Benedict Bridgerton oneshot but I'm currently holding off writing it so I can finish Chapter 3 of To Woo the Emerald Princess.

Writing Update: 05/08/22

I'm still working on Chapter 3 of To Woo the Emerald Princess. I will not be finished today. Hopefully before or next weekend I will have it finished. I am writing on it daily. My goal was to post a chapter a week, but it is not always possible. I write when I have time and I write long chapters.

I did write a future spicy chapter for To Woo the Emerald Princess, but it is much later in the story. It's how I get through writing slow burns or slowish burns.

In addition, I have taken on a oneshot that I'm writing at the same time. Hopefully you all will enjoy it. To give you all an idea about what it entails, I'm writing a Vampire Benedict oneshot too. I will post this one when it's ready. Though would you all be interested in an excerpt/tease?

Since I'm not able to post the whole To Woo the Emerald Princess Chapter 3 today, here is an small excerpt:

Shelley takes a deep breath and says harshly "Fine. I will be there shortly." He turns to Panda and Benedict. He says as he stands "Well, Mr Bridgerton, thank you for visiting and making sure we are alright."

Benedict could hear the thickness of Shelley's desire for him to leave. He decides to ignore it. Benedict did stand out of respect and say "It was good to see you both again, your Graces." After all, he has manners and is a gentleman. He only smiles with his hands folded in front of him while watching Shelley. Benedict is sure Shelley is not having a good time about it at all. Steam might come out of his ears soon. Benedict watches in fascination.
