Wolverine is ageless.
it’s time to face facts: charles xavier’s liberalism does nothing for the mutant cause.
if you didn’t know about their powers, charles xavier and erik lehnsherr would look like a pair of distinguished elder gentlemen. the difference between the two is that for as long as he’s been in the public eye, erik lehnsherr has always explicitly identified himself as the mutant magneto, while for years, professor xavier put on the facade of being a “normal” flatscan scientist.
but it doesn’t end there: as leader of the brotherhood, magneto never required his allies to wear masks or hide who they were. meanwhile, professor x almost always appears in public with only the most attractive (by conventional flatscan standards) of his students. he even goes as far as providing holographic image inducers for his less “palatable” students.
what all this tells us is that charles xavier only cares about you if your powers and appearance wouldn’t cause a stir at the country club, while magneto fights for the rights of all mutants
now, more than ever: magneto was right
why doesn’t the x-mansion have wheelchair ramps
it’s literally his house
how does he get in and out of his own house
when your creators forget to give you a way to leave your own fucking house
Sounds like Sims…
LOL THEY BETTER LEARN THIS LESSON NOW THAT THIS MOVIE TANKED AND STAR WARS MERCHANDISING MADE THIS MISTAKE I MEAN FUCK
the names are so accurate to their relationship
What to do if you stick Deadpool with open arms - benefit from the SpiderMan
the moment steve welcomes tony into his heart
I would just like to point out, as someone did for me, that this is the first time we ever saw Steve really smile since he woke up from the ice. This is his first real smile since the 40’s, and he gives it to Tony Stark.
I don’t understand how there’s no Black Widow movie. A little girl being taught to be a spy from childhood. Destroying her youth and innocence and learning to kill. Competing against 27 other girls to stay alive. Being pushed to the breaking point morally, physically, and emotionally. Seeing The Red Room forge her into a weapon. The beginning of her career - assassinating diplomats, manipulating prisoners of Russia, outsmarting SHIELD. Backstory to Drakov, Sal Paulo, the hospital fire, and Budapest. And then a rookie SHIELD agent has her in sight on his scopes. His finger is in the trigger, but he hesitates. She looks scared. She looks tired. She looks like a fighter. So, he brings her in, and takes her under his wing. From a child assassin to a Russian defector. And they could throw Bucky and Yelena in there, along with Clint and Fury, and maybe even a Peggy Carter/Dottie Underwood Red Room origin story.
Like, who heard that and went - ‘no, I’m gonna go with Spiderman for the third time, and this guy who can talk to ants’?!
I’m actually far less bothered by Martin Freeman being cast than by Marvel choosing to release that information right now.
Right now, when the main reactions around Avengers 2 have been around women and feminism and their role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and over the shitty way that Generic African Coast was an actual location.
Right now, immediately after Joss Whedon quit Twitter for reasons that might or might not have to do with fan reaction to Avengers 2 and Jeremy Renner doubled down on his “Black Widow is a slut” comment and a leaked email showed that the Marvel CEO doesn’t think women can carry a superhero movie.
Right now, when we know that Revenge is cancelled but we still haven’t gotten official confirmation Sharon Carter is going to be in Cap3.
That’s when they announce another white man- one with a history of racist comments and rape jokes- having been cast in the film.
This would have been a great day to announce the presence of more women. And instead we get this.
That’s a choice, and it’s one I straight-up do not understand.
Now I’m giggling and thinking of how each of the Avengers would deal with some creeper in a bar bothering a woman.
Steve would get right up in the dude’s face, at first trying to take the nice “leave the lady alone” route, but having NO problem getting physical if the guy doesn’t back off.
Bruce would calmly approach and invite her to come sit with him and the others until the creeper left.
Natasha wouldn’t even say anything. She would just walk up, slam the guy’s head down onto the bar once, and stare him down until he left.
Tony would stand right in the middle of the two and start talking the guy to death so the girl could make her escape.
Thor would pontificate about honor until the dude gives up.
Clint would start aggressively hitting on the guy. When the guy gets freaked out, he would shout “SEE HOW THAT FEELS?” at him.
I couldn’t decide where I wanted Coulson to be sorted, so.
Too adorable, could not not re-blog
THE TAGS YES PLZ
i’d be a terrible superhero i’d be at home and see the signal calling me in the sky and be like “i literally just sat down”
New information regarding Spider-Man suggests a “95%” chance that the actor in Captain America: Civil War won’t be white. Recent reports also suggest the actor will be a much younger than Andrew Garfield, who is just 31 now. So we may be looking at a young, black or hispanic actor in the role of Spider-Man in the next few films that Marvel and Sony will work together on.
You all say you want a Black Widow movie, but if we let Marvel Agent Carter’s ratings slip out of our hands, and it gets cancelled… You can bet your little ass that the industry will think that it was female leads that was a bad idea, and then you can kiss that possibility goodbye.
Female leads are important. Support them.
where can I watch it outside US?
get Hola, it will bypass country codes and let you watch the episodes from the ABC website which will boost the ratings
And he is so cute too… Osric talks about how he wanted to be stunt guy, but he wasn’t good enough so he became an actor. HE STILL DOES THIS THOUGH. BECAUSE HE IS FOLLOWING HIS DREAMS. ANY. WAY. HE. CAN.
This has been me telling you: if you don’t love Osric Chau, you are doing it wrong.
Petition for Osric Chau to play Shang-Chi
Or Ryan Choi!
Or ANY Marvel superhero, because as proven by Nick Fury and the Human Torch, he doesn’t have to go in a role designated by comic-book race…and in fact, said at DC Con that one of his dreams is to play a role that could be done by anyone, not just An Asian Guy.
This is a MUST happen.
