on the one hand, he might actually believe Dean’s not in love and sees Cas as a brother, but he doesn’t realise how bad his actor bleed really is. those hearteyes for Misha just cannot be tamed.

I mean, it’s either that, or he’s lying out his ass (way more likely) because oh my god imagine the fallout if he announced Dean’s bisexuality at a con before it was canon in the show. the fandom would be in shreds, the PR people would all have heart attacks simultaneously, the writers would cry for days because all their subtextual hard work is ruined, and basically everything would be terrible

so whenever Jensen says anything potentially anti-Destiel at a con, just assume he’s preventing the fandom version of nuclear disaster, and take his words with a grain of salt. or a truckload.

I am firmly of the belief that he said “people” because he meant Cas and although he was practically admitting his feelings, he didn’t want to admit that much yet

and yes, gender ambiguity is exactly the reason he said “people”

Pretty sure Gina is a girl Dean made up. Maybe he once knew a Gina, maybe he didn’t, but she was used as an example in Dean’s confession as one of the girls he messed around with and “made it sound like [they] had more of a future together than they really did” (sic)

Whether she was real or not, she was made of liiiiiiessss

and Dean’s real confession was about unnamed “people” and “feelings” and “things [Dean] might want to try for the first time” *cough-bisexuality-cough-cough-Cas-cough*
