you know, I think I used to be less predictable with my writing, and I made a point of making everything original to the point where I didn't even know where the story was going. but recently I've just been like, you know what, I want to cover all the romantic tropes and cliches, and just make them as fucking enjoyable as I possibly can. I'm glad to see it's paying off~

almaasi is my favoritestest ever when it comes to flustered!dean. It’s like, at first, you gotta ease dean into the idea of himself and castiel as more than friends (because it’s dean, Dean denial I’d never dream of it actually happening Winchester) but once he’s on board he’s so shy and mumbly and blushy about it and he’s so happy inside he can barely contain it and it makes my heart do flips and no nope I’m not crying nah ugh gosh

I wrote a new 10k fic and made fanart, wherein Sam sets Dean and Cas up on a Valentine’s date in the bunker, and Cas has mastered Instagram. I’m going to attempt to post that in about 8 hours (10pm on the 13th, Kansas time). That is, provided I don’t oversleep. I set 5 alarms, I’m hoping that will be enough.
