Win or Lose
Wether or not the Hawks win the game (or series) I will still be extremely proud of them. They had a great season this year, although it was a little rocky towards the end, and I could not be more proud. I’ve cried, stressed, and cussed them out multiple times, but I’ve also smiled as wide as I ever had and had an absolutely great time watching these boys play the game they love.
Win or lose, they are my team. And I stand by my team.
THIS. So many fans would love for their team to have had the year the Hawks had and get this far. Only ONE TEAM wins the cup. Not playing in the finals every year does not make you a shitty team. Plenty of great teams run into bad puck luck, slumps, injuries, post-trade mangled chemistry. Shit happens. Regardless of how this series goes, the Hawks are elite.
