He planned on surprising you with flowers, some milkshakes and fries, maybe, and dancing if you felt up to it. Then, he was going to walk you to your house and kiss you good night on the cheek before getting a promise for a second date out of you.

Title: Stronghold
Snow piled outside your window like teeny mountains of sugar, the glass turning milky as a sheen layer of frost covered the exterior. Winter was a beautiful, cruel queen - deadly for those who came too close yet a gratifying visage to the causal voyeur.
IMPORTANT: TUMBLR & FANFICTION
Alright kids, listen up because @staff have pulled off a corker of a hot mess and have decided to add "Community Labels". I guess they've decided we can't be trusted to add our own warnings and people can't make sensible choices with what they engage with.
But why does it matter to me?
Tumblr have made labels AN OPT IN SITUATION which means every single blog here is automatically set to hide any triggering content
If you want to continue to be able to access and read fanfiction PLEASE go into your settings and click "show" on at least the "Mature" and "Sexual Themes" labels!!
ALSO IOS USERS: there's an extra fun "Hide additional content" bit just to really try and block us from any hopes of success. Make sure you opt out of that too otherwise I think content will be blocked on the mobile app!
Attached to this post are screenshots from my settings so you guys know what to look for. I could only find it on my desktop settings and not on the mobile app (for now at least)qq
Must do on desktop/browser. Mobile app won’t let you 🙄
Not really a plot or anything - just thought of it and quickly wrote it
When you and Loki finally had a day off from being earths mightiest hero’s, you decided you’d take a gander into the city for some light browsing and shopping. You were sporting sunglasses and Loki had put a hat on in the hopes that you weren’t both recognised which worked for the first twenty minutes of your venture before the sound of cameras clicking became noticeable. Still, you both decided to ignore it as you continued your day, occasionally stopping for the odd signature.
On your journey back, you spent a while longer as you went the scenic route through the park hand in hand as you rested your head on Lokis shoulder speaking about the day you had had amongst other things. Pausing, you dropped Lokis hand.
“Can you feel that?” You asked, the hairs at the back of your neck standing up.
“Feel what?” Loki questioned confused.
“Somethings following us.” You murmured. Without a word, Loki sprang into action, moving you behind him as his eyes darted around you both, nothing in sight.
“I can’t see anything.” Loki answered cautiously, not wanting to doubt you but deciding he’d trust his eyes on this occasion.
“There is something.” You insisted, knowing that your senses were always right.
“Let’s just try and quickly focus on getting home.” Loki insisted, wanting to ensure your safety incase there really was something lurking. You both quickened your pace unaware of the hazel eyes on you following behind.
When you both arrived back at your shared apartment, strategically located right next to Stark Tower, you showered as Loki cooked dinner. Still in your bathrobe, you followed the aroma of food to the kitchen where Loki was standing over the stove.
“Mmm, smells nice.” You hummed, wrapping your arms around him.
“Thank you, I’ve made your favourite.” He smiled, turning his head to kiss you. He kissed you once before turning around fully and kissing you heatedly as his hands roamed your body. He walked you backwards, the back of your legs hitting the counter as he continued kissing you feverishly.
“Careful, I’ll have to take you to bed now if you kiss me like that again.” You teased as you pulled away from the kiss, near gasping for breath whilst Loki placed kisses across your neck.
“How about we do go to bed now?” He grinned, lips making their way back to yours.
“Turn the stove off and meet me in the bedroom.” You spoke against his lips before leaving.
As you entered the bedroom, you instantly felt a presence. Your eyes searched for something, anything but nothing could be seen. You were certain something was watching you, it was the same thing that had watched you earlier in the park. Whatever it was it was here. Usually if there was something threatening in your space you’d be able to detect it but whatever this thing was, it meant no harm. That much was clear. You felt two hands on your hips causing you to gasp as you spun around.
“Hey hey, what’s wrong what’s the matter?” Loki asked, seeing your shocked expression.
“It’s here.” You spoke ominously before the bedroom window blew open causing you and Loki both to gasp. Leaving your side, he told you to stay behind him as he made his way towards the balcony. Cautiously he looked over it to see—
“It’s a cat.” He called
“A cat?”
“Aww, who’s a little good boy.” Loki cooed, leaning over the balcony to pick it up.
“Don’t bring it in here it might belong to someone!” You warned.
“It doesn’t.” He answered, holding it as he continued to talk to it. “This must have been what you sensed.”
“That cat?”
“It’s not just a normal cat y/n, it’s from Asgard.” He explained, sitting on the bed as he sat it in his lap and began stroking it.
“So let me get this right. A cat from Asgard followed us home to what, tell us something?” You snorted.
“Yes.” He nodded, glancing up at you before looking down at the cat. “What do you want to say, what do you want to say?” He spoke in the same tone you’d use to speak to a baby. “You can come and sit down, it won’t hurt you.” Loki insured.
“Yeah but I’m naked underneath this, I don’t want the Asgard cat to see.” You countered.
“We’re very comfortable with nudity in Asgard, it’s a marvel that Midgard has made clothes such apart of its culture.”
“I still don’t wanna be naked with the space kitty looking.”
“Fine.” He spoke before turning back towards the cat. “Go on, tell us what you have to say.”
“Loki, maybe it can’t talk—” you began before the space cat began making some sort of noise that Loki nodded along to. “Are you—do you—understand?”
“Yes.” Loki spoke.
“What’s it saying?”
“Thor lost his hammer apparently.”
This random thing I found in my drafts 🤣 not sure where I was going with this

An aesthetic and drabble for SPN Angst Appreciation Day 2018 and my @spnangstbingo Card, the Broken Neck square.
Summary: You, Sam, and Dean are hunting a vamp nest.
warnings: Major Character Death, no happy ending
word count: ~480
The fight was worse than Dean had expected. It was eight vamps against the three of you, and they were extra angry after Dean had decapitated one of their nest back in town. By the time you’d found them at their hideout in the abandoned building, the vamps were hungry for your blood, and not for feeding.
Every once in a while during the fight, Dean would glance your way to make sure you were doing okay, before he was pulled back into it with one of them. He was worried about you, even more so now that the two of you had actually admitted your feelings for one another. He knew it was crazy – you were a good hunter – but he still was going to worry.
😭😭😭😭
One of these is Loki. The other is an imposter.
Why have they continued to try and emasculate him??? He was powerful, cunning, sharp as a tack.
For some reason they’ve reduced him to a 12 year old with ADHD.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻THIS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
They are NOT the same character. I hate this new crap we’ve been served and told we have to accept. Because this IS NOT Loki.
Marvel has decided that all their men need to be kneecapped for some reason. Bucky was nowhere near where he was in the other movies, Loki’s been reduced to THIS.
And their women are all become super masculinized. Remember when Black widow was fucking awesome but she was also SUPER feminine and it was cool? She was a GIRL who was really feminine but she kicked ass and that was awesome.
Or even Sif. She was cool. She was feminine but she kicked ass.
Now we get Valkyrie......
And Marvel has started this trend where female characters have to kick the asses of all their once very powerful characters and that’s got to stop. It’s pandering and dumb.
Marvel AND Disney jointly have decided to tear down male characters and make them groveling and nervous and ingratiating and spineless while making their female characters identical robots with no emotion and no feelings except Strong Independent No Gentleness All Plastic and it’s BORING. These aren’t characters you want to know anymore or follow, they’re cardboard cutouts.
Pathetic.
You know why? It’s because third or fourth or whatever wave we’re on now feminism is a damned poison.
Feminazis don’t even want to watch this stuff. They just want to ruin it for everyone else. Their poison sinks in to everything and makes it boring.
They turn female characters into what feminists think men are. They act just like male bullies that if they weren’t female people would hate.
It's because they can't write anti-heroes, and have an agenda.
Or maybe because the first one - correctly - thinks he's winning and got himself captured on purpose, while the second one is pretty much screwed over and has had several solid days worth of humbling and failure and is literally powerless.
And even then, he still manages to outwit and undermine the TVA. Which had to nerf him in-universe because he was too powerful to contain otherwise.
This is, you'll recall, the same guy who tried to intimidate The Hulk.
So the idea that he can't fail in an embarrassing fashion seems...odd to me. And he's pretty consistently been the butt of jokes.
As for anti-heroes;
If Loki is being emasculated, I don't think it's because of sexism, I think it's because they're appealing to the fanbase. Making him more funny makes him more of a "safe" bad boy.
Or maybe they're following Taika's lead from Thor 3. Which has it's own issues.
I dont see how he's "being emasculated"...we saw Loki emotionally change and grow and develop over what...3-4 movies? From a self entitled spiteful ass who loses and blames everyone else, to a decent brother that cares for his family...he and Thor grew closer and closer...and then Loki died,...and variant loki escaped with the Tesseract in Endgame. A version of Loki without all of that personal and emotional development directly after Avengers.
This returned Loki to his post movie 1 state. This is giving Loki a lot of humbling, and alot of character development. Confronting his issues and internal turmoils and working through those issues. We are watching a narcissistic ass who wants attention and to be a villain...confront the drives his need to be a villain or rather, be the villain he is expected to be, and no, it's not petty evil for evils sake!
I don't see how he is emasculated...but I DO see how the women are being made more masculine. Alot of the emotional developments seem to focus around Sylvie and Loki, so I dont feel this is sexism as much as it is just padded heavily with strong female characters...
Ok, but I don’t have a problem with Character Growth. I have a problem with him becoming a dolt who can’t do anything for himself.
He’s an idiot in this show. His personality has fundamentally changed. He isn’t the same character at all. The Loki from previous movies and the Loki from the TV are not the same character AT ALL.
Also he’s being sidelined in his own damn TV show! He must AWAYS be saved by the woman! She’s smarter than him! She’s more competent than him! She’s more powerful than him! She’s better than him!
They’ve kneecapped him. Watch Thor 1-Avengers-Thor 2. This is NOT the same character.
Also FYI. We can love antiheroes without them needing to be HUMILIATED to learn not to be “narcissistic”
Hes the same character from the end of the first avengers movie, just after defeat, and escaped. The loki that had several movies to change through died, you cant expect this one in the show to be the same because they aren't. This loki didnt get to reconcile with Odin and Thor, he didnt get to see how thor finds him predictable, that he could be more. He didnt get that journey. He got captured by the TVA. You forget, this Loki is the one who escaped at the end of Endgame thanks to tony and Scott bumbling around and losing the cube. Which means THIS LOKI, never went to Asgard, never saw his mother die, never witnessed the dark elves attack his home, never met Hela, he never escaped the trash planet kn Ragnorak with Thor. Tou are expecting this to be that Loki. That Loki died to Thanos. This one is younger then him.
He struggles against the TVA because 5hey see all of time they have all the answers, and the realm it exists in is outside of the normal flows of time, the infinity stones are useless there, magic is useless there because the rules of the universe dont operate there. Coupled with this Loki being repeatedly humiliated by witnessing a life he didnt live, a destiny hes told he is destined t ok live and die in. That's alot to grapple with in a short period.
By this point the TVA has dealt with so many lokis, they know how lies and tricks. I can see the being sidelined bit as Sylvie really has none of Lokis usual personality, she is more like Wanda then she is Loki and that's a really stark difference. I mean, her whole enchantment thing is literally Wanda's power. It's a bit disappointing. I like Sylvie as a character, but she is not loki in way.
So, starting off—I’m not going be nice to you. I’m tired of how stupid people are concerning the anger over Loki’s lobotomized personality.
Yes, this Loki in the show is completely different from the Loki from New York’s attack (for simplicity’s sake I’m calling them 2012/Loki and 2021/Loki). He is by no means the same character from the end of Avengers Assemble—because we saw the way 2012/Loki behaved immediately after in The Dark World. There was no nervous fidgeting, no pathetic feigning of power that made him look like an incompetent and doltish buffoon. The original Loki, 2012/Loki, didn’t grovel and mewl pathetic nonsensical ramblings like a lunatic in a sanitarium. 2012/Loki (and subsequently TDW/Loki) was mentally unstable, certainly, but they weren’t obsequious and immature like 14 year old boys as a result. Every word 2012/Loki and TDW/Loki uttered had a weight, was said for a reason—either for his own bitterness or to inspire the irritation of another person.
2012/Loki didn’t need to have your pathetic excuse of a “redemption arc” to maintain a poised, cunning, and intelligent personality. The fact that the events of TDW and Ragnarok and Infinity War never happened to him HAS NO BEARING on the fact that his intelligence and caution and charisma and ability to plan and plot like a skilled general have been ripped from him and fobbed off to the Precious and Infallible OC, Sylvie (whom everyone should hate because she’s a wretched Mary Sue without personality of her own).
No one with brains and a critical eye for writing wants or expects the trash that is Ragnarok/Loki in this show. We expect 2012/Loki. We were given Ragnarok with the extra splash of inept writing by an incompetent script writer who is in love with a script that everyone who reviewed it said was wretched.
They’re two different characters—and compared to the 2-something hours “redemption arc” 2012/Loki got in bits and pieces while the films were focused on other characters, six hours where 2021/Loki is (((allegedly))) the main character should produce a far superior arc. The fact that it’s failed—instead turning him into a groveling baseless idiot lacking intelligence and requiring the need for a woman’s coaxing and encouragement before he can even attempt to to crudely learn basic spell-work (that he performed easily enough in Ragnarok to induce Valkyrie aka Brunhilde to side with Thor) is PATHETIC, nornsforsaken shite writing. You’d have to be a VERY naive fool not to see the difference.
So, if you cannot tell the difference between 2021/Loki and 2012/Loki, there’s little point in arguing with you. It’s like hitting a wall with a feather and expecting it to crumble.
Yes.
And can I just...? Loki didn't need a redemption arc. We loved him without it. We didn't need an apology from him or a dramatic death scene. We didn't need for him to change after TDW. We loved him exactly the way he was.
But TVA Loki is not the same character.
We lost a very special man today.
:’( I love these pictures...

Sully is one of my very favorites!
You know, after meeting Nate Torrance at SPNDC a couple of weeks ago, all I can say is that NO ONE could have done Sully better. In many ways, Nate Torrance IS Sully. And he cares SO MUCH about a character that he played for one episode! He put real thought into everything he did, and is so gosh darn PLEASED when we acknowledge things that we loved about Sully and all of Nate’s hard work. He’s a blessing personified and I wish we could get him at more conventions so everyone could meet him and experience him!
Lordy, I just have FEELINGS.
Stuff kids on tumblr better relearn
1. You are responsible for your own media experience.
2. There is such a thing as a healthy level of avoidance towards topics that make you feel unwell or even (in a real-life clinical definition of the term) trigger you - but you are the one to actively take care of what you view.
3. Avoiding does not mean policing others.
4. You have no right to tell artists to censor themselves - you may criticize what others do, you may dislike it, that’s fine - but actively asking for censorship when you could easily unfollow or block a person just makes you look incompetent in your use of the internet.
5. Do not give people on tumblr or /any/ website the responsibility for your emotional well-being. Because these people do not even know you so no, you have no right to ask them to take care of you.
6. Content creators are not your parents and owe you nothing, not even a breakdown on why their content isn’t problematic. You don’t get to demand a dissertation denouncing any and everything unhealthy in a piece you don’t like. Move on.
7. Tagging is a nicety but not an obligation. You can message people, politely, and ask them to tag things, and many people will, but understand that it’s their blog and they aren’t obliged to say yes. Unfollow and block when you need to. Circling back to number 1, you are responsible for curating your own experience.
8. Don’t be a jerk. Remember at the end of the day, there are actual living, breathing people behind each screen name. Don’t say anything you wouldn’t say to someone’s face in real life.
