could you pray for me? i'm a christian and i know that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem but. oh man. my chronic health has become more intrusive, interfering with everything. i've been feeling like such a burden and a problem for months now (i mean, more than i already was) and the idea of killing myself keeps popping up in my head, that i'll be healed in heaven, that i won't be suffering anymore, etc. and it's so hard to redirect because i am suffering, there's no guaranteed solution, and i can't shake the feeling that my presence is just causing problems for the people i love...
I’m praying.
Also, as someone with loved ones who have serious and unpleasant incurable conditions, the problems you cause are worth it. Having you for one more year, one more month, week, day, hour is worth it. I’m sorry you feel like a burden, but even if you are, being a burden does not mean that anyone is better off without you.

Coming on briefly to beg for prayers for my baby niece. She contracted a virus and has been in the hospital, struggling to breathe, since yesterday. She’s doing worse today. They’ve baptized her. Please pray for her quick and complete healing.
Update: she’s been intubated, and they say she’s stable at the moment. The priest gave her anointing of the sick. Please continue to pray.

Please pray for my older sister, she's had a large fibroid in her uterus for a couple years now that seems to keep growing. When she was first diagnosed they said it was of no concern and that it would shrink. Now the doctor's saying she needs surgery and they might even have to remove her uterus. My sister has yet to have any children and apart from this, from what I understand, removing the uterus can have a lot of consequences even outside of reproductive health. Please pray for her.

Can you pray for me? I keep unintentionally hyperfocusuing on my sins and the sins of others. I don't want to go into specifics, but it's gotten to the point where I'm having intrusive thoughts involving the subject, and I even feel like I'm experiencing a frequency illusion. Even when I try to get my mind off the subject, someone will say something or I'll read something or see something online that brings it back to my attention and I'll go down in a mental spiral all over again.

Guys, please pray for T, a young girl I am working with. She has very frequent violent outbursts towards me and the rest of the staff, sometimes headbanging (she has literally put a hole in the wall with her head). She has the worst traumatic background I have encountered in my 7 years in the field (not a long time in context of all working adults, but still, I have worked with dozens), and it’s so haunting that it’s even affecting me.
If I’m honest I think I had the mindset of second-hand trauma not being something that could affect me, or that really existed for any good reason in the first place. I have my own childhood trauma that I have dealt with, and my arrogant youth decided I was immune, but I was wrong. Actually meeting, working with, and knowing someone who has gone through what she has is something else. The only person I can think of who has had as severe of a childhood is my older sister-in-law (I suppose this should give me some hope since she is a very successful, smart, kind, resilient person.)
But anyway this is not about me. Pray for T. It would be a tragedy for her to be an unsuccessful discharge, for this just to be another failed placement to add onto her undeserved low and wounded self esteem. Please pray we can help her and show her that we care about her.

Please pray for my sister, she has a large uterine fibroid and the technician told us the size of it is equivalent to a 5 month pregnancy. Thanks to God so far we've been told it's benign, but even though she says it doesn't cause her pain it does put unwanted pressure on her other organs.
