A/N thanks so much for the request. I came up with two other scenarios for these two with this prompt, one was even a period piece LOL, and I deleted them and went with this one. One day, I'll do that regency era Open Heart idea I've been working on, but not today! 😂. I need more prompts because I'm stuck on all the other wips in my folder. I can see why that song made you think of them. 😬 well........hmm. This is a tough one. Normally, I'd be like, Liam will just tell everyone what happened with his father and how Riley is innocent. They'll ride off into the sunset toward their happily ever after, blah, blah, blah 😂. Then I remember how he reacted in TRR Book 2 when Constantine said he couldn't go to the press and clear this up. It would ruin the people's trust in Liam due to having a manipulative father, etc. And Liam AGREED. Here, given just what we know of Liam from the first two books of The Royal Romance, is what I think would have happened if Tariq was not found in time. Sorry for it being so long! It kept growing and growing 🙈 angst and fluff from here on out.

I always wondered how Liam went about that whole ending the engagement part within like a few hours 🤔 I would have thought it would have taken longer. I just realized that I've never really written anything that has them simply having a normal argument. I've had Riley leave Liam during that ridiculous engagement tour and such, but never just a couple's disagreement. Let's see what I can do. I think I'll go back to Book 3 of The Royal Romance for this one. It always bugged me that Liam never came over to help Riley or even talk to her after they walked inside Madeleine's home.*Sorry this took so long Nonny. My last road trip seemed to make my brain freeze up for a while 😂 The writer's block has been slowing me down a lot on my fics recently.
