A/N Here you go my sweet friend. Thank you for sending these requests to me to help with inspiration. I know you specifically wanted this one with both Ethan and Chris, so I'm going back to book 1 for you so that Tobias won't steal her away 😉
I was also inspired by the Dr. Who gifs below for this one. For those who don't know, Karen Gillian is my FC for Chris Valentine. Don't worry, I'm not making Matt Smith my FC for Ethan 😂 This interaction though reminded me of something Ethan and Chris would have done and it fit my idea for the above prompt.

Ethan wasn't sure how he managed to walk into Chris's room and calmly sit down. He had such a rush of feelings as he looked at her tear stained face. The first was how unfair it was that this was where they ended up after everything they'd been through.
He loved her. He doubted there would ever come a time when he didn't. The thought of losing her cut to the quick. His life, he couldn't even begin to imagine what it was going to look like after today.

About ten minutes later, Chris found herself in a patient room.
Tobias was in the process of stitching up the gash at the center of her head. He kept glancing down at her face every so often.
"Almost done?" She asked, feeling the need to squirm. She was so embarrassed that she'd fainted earlier.
OK OK OK Chris and Tobias are perfect for each other. Period. Done. Put a period at the end of that sentence. So, what would have happened if this occurred: Ethan came to his senses before Tobias entered the picture; he and Chris are together, and eventually, she becomes friends with Tobias. She loves Ethan but realizes how well-suited she is with Tobias, but no matter... he never settles down, so it's not like it's an issue.... then one night, night he professes his love to her (this is essentially the beginning of my Delaying the Inevitable series lol ) He makes it clear there is no expectation, he just wanted her to know.

🤣🤦🏻♀️ Okay. Oof. You know I can't resist doing another angsty fic. Something's wrong with me and this need to delve even further into heartache. So...given how I've head canoned my MC and how some scenes in OH canon are with Ethan, this is how I think it would go if he had wised up before Tobias came along. I've gone back and forth so many times on how things would end in this situation, but some things are inevitable after all.

There were only a couple of reasons two people went into a photo booth together, and the one he suspected had him walking over to either prove or disprove his theory.

A/N I finally wrote something! 🤣 This idea came about last night when replaying Book 3. I always opt to have my MC, Chris, take a photo of just her and Tobias at Ines's wedding reception. Originally, I hoped this scene would open up a romance option with Tobias. Sadly, PB didn't give it to me, LOL, so this is how I wish things had gone down canon wise.
"You look like you could use this."
Chris turned around at the familiar voice. Her eyes darted over how handsome the man before her looked dressed to the nines in his blue suit. Humor lurked in the hazel depths of his eyes as he in turn noticed her taking every inch of him in.
Tobias exaggerated clearing his throat. He held up the two fruity cocktails in his hands and playfully shook one.

Chris Valentine knew she should have hated Ethan Ramsey after her first few encounters with him. Maybe hate is too strong of a word. Still though, she shouldn't be attracted to him. The man was an arrogant ass most of the time. He didn't care if he hurt anyone's feelings with his blunt criticisms mixed with insults.
