But really, is there any league where 7 goals in a game in certain games isn't a surprise? How often do we have 5-0, 6-0, 9-0 scoreline when it's chelsea or Barcelona. Some of the best defenders in the world are in the nwsl - just that some of the best attackers in the world are too 😅 it's such a fast league as well I think.

Tbf, I think the defenders in the NWSL are probably the best in the world because they have to be. The speed of the forwards in this league is insane. It's just that teams in the NWSL usually don't go for the low block, so there are more opportunities on both sides. US defenders are elite.

Wonder how they did it though, because I'm pretty sure it was also DAZN recordings (with English commentators)

It's so funny because there are players who use their social posts as encouragement to thirst over them with certain type of fotos and then you have akb who is the total opposite and still gets it

There will usually be a post season party and also the exit interviews that they'll both have to attend. I think the awards will likely be announced at the final next week, but by then they'll have fled the country likely. They are both enigmas and we'll probably only find out what they're up to when all the UK/Germany based friends start posting about reunions 😂

Although I agree with alex that we have to look at the whole game and not just the scoreline I do not agree that bayern has dominated games. Yes against wob and frankfurt we had most of the ball but against wob they looked the most dangerous gling forward. Domination is not about having the most of the ball

I do think most people recognise that clean sheet stats are a team stat more so than an individual GK stat, but Moorhouse's development has been good, and she deserves the nomination - I don't think there have been many other GKs that really stand out in the league other than AKB this season.

Especially Ann having to travel from Germany straight to the Utah game last time was insane. That's like west coast with two days between landing and game.
