Game of Thrones x Gymnastics | [3/15]
House CGA:
CGA (Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy) is nestled in a remote but industrial region in the midwest on a compound that has seen better days. Mary Lee’s house has had a roller coaster of a history. Her early years saw multiple victories across Olympiads. House CGA is one of the few houses to have two protege compete on an Olympic team, even more so, said team was the legendary Magnificent Seven. Mary Lee’s training methods have been known to be grueling without any constructive progress, partially the blame for the injuries and fizzles that have followed House CGA’s golden era. For quite some time, the sprawling halls of House CGA that were once buzzing with eager bodies have fallen silent with the dense quiet of withered hype. Ridden with rotten luck after the Magnificent Seven, few candidates have had the chance to make a splash for quite some time. After nearly a decade, something stirs in the walls of House CGA. Two candidates have landed in Mary Lee’s clutches who possess the persistent drumming of Olympic hopefuls and she hopes to repeat her 1996 feat of dual Olympians. Rarely the stars, CGA candidates are hardly the shiniest or most powerful forces on the podium, but they tend to be chosen as pillars meant to hold a team afloat with solid but baseline contributions that get the job done. They do the necessary work, with few moments of individual glory, but are known to have competed alongside the best. Perhaps these two fresh candidates can bring the golden glory back to House CGA and reassert Mary Lee’s once revered seat.
