Simone Biles is the first woman to win the Olympic AA after wining the World AA the year prior since 1996. She is the first woman to EVER win an entire quad’s worth of AA titles, 4 in a row (2013-2016).
Kohei Uchimura defended his Olympic AA medal on Wednesday. He has won every World/Olympic AA medal since 2009. He is considered by many to be the greatest male gymnast of all time which has earned him the nickname King Kohei.

Kohei Uchimura wins his eighth all-around title by 0.099 in a closely-contested Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Final. This is his 2nd consecutive Olympic all-around gold medal, having dominated this event from 2009 to 2016.

Kohei KILLED that high bar routine. No matter the result he truly did give it his all
I feel so conflicted because Oleg is my favourite gymnast and I want him to get all the golds but at the same time I don’t want Kohei’s streak to end?????? I DON’T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS
