our halloween costumes were a HIT with the zoo staff

i had a great halloween in our new house!! never gotten to hand out candy or decorate before so it was a blast even though it was rushed (literally moved in three days ago)

turns out depressed thor is a fantastic costume for a 30 week pregnant woman because you just get to wear pyjamas and be fat all night. wish i’d had like.. tape and scissors to make a marginally better mjolnir but honestly the severe jankiness is my fave part so

put 20 minutes of effort into carving punkins (16 of those minutes were scoopin’). also made some great spooky treats and then matt made the house look too scary for the children. even overheard some older kids saying “it’s so scary” “yeah i don’t like this” hahahahahaha and i’ll fucken do it again
