did you write the book of love and do you have faith in God above? If the Bible tells you soooo and did you see him hitting on the queen though he's just - FUCK

i think my voice is dropping and i came to this conclusion while singing “bad romance” at karaoke with j. as important stereotype representation
Becoming a writer is great because now you have a hobby that haunts you whenever you don’t have time to do it

Loving star wars is a curse and perhaps a mental illness of some kind
i realized that i never actually read the product reviews for the book that i essentially ghostwrote bc last spring there were a lot of things going on. after doing so my key takeaways are 1) the author left an amazon review and made no attempt to hide this fact which is honestly great 2) why do a bunch of people on goodreads leave solely positive comments but then rate 3 stars… i want to make you happy but i don’t know how… 3) one person offered as their highest possible praise (lightly paraphrased) “this is written in english and could be helpful.” tea honestly
mostly unbothered by assertions that texts from which i’ve personally derived great benefit aren’t good. a decent chunk of the scaffolding of my life rests on art that i would describe as mid if pressed. often bothered by assertions that texts aren’t good and thus aren’t worth engaging with for anyone, however

"A sign installed in the largest wildfire burn I’ve ever seen, along the BC/YK border. Borrowing the aesthetics of BC Recreation Site signs, once again pointing to the overlaps of outdoor recreation, resource extraction, and the consequences of the climate crisis. Most recreation sites in BC exist along previously built logging and mining roads.
“Forced into a great and difficult transformation” was a line I heard in a lecture on Buddhist philosophy I was listening to on my drive up north. But it became another mantra I thought about while living in a place that’s been utterly transformed by resource extraction over the past century, and as I thought about the burnt landscapes I drove through."

the more time i spend working with dogs, the less i “like” them (in the sense of “OMG PUPPY WANT TO PET”) but the more i respect them. which is i think a value-neutral statement, but it’s been an interesting development to observe because i didn’t experience the same thing with horses since all of my time spent around them from day 1 has been in a learning/working environment. this post sponsored by how i was just walking down the street and someone’s husky on an extendable lead unexpectedly lunged out at me from between two parked cars, apparently causing me to look visibly pissed enough that the owner started profusely apologizing lol
