I finished reading "The secret history" by Donna Tartt the other day and the characters are not going to let me go. The book is kinda mesmerizing, I loved the language immediately (and read the whole 600-page book in one week). The characters are perfect in the way they're written. At first I agreed with Richard's view on the group. They were all so mysterious, ideal, that I couldn't even imagine how complicated and awful their lives in fact were (Charles was my favourite character until THE LAST CHAPTER, Charles, wtf are you doing?!)

It looks like a variation of "I'll cut your throat, that'll shut you up - You're beautiful" meme from "Princess Mononoke" XD

My uncle presented me a new stylus pencil so I'm now practicing in digital art a lot. This art I really love though I was too lasy to draw the whole scene (I hate drawing legs, sorry). Nothing indecent, they were just fighting (you see stains on Brut's cheek?) :))

It was, actually, better as a sketch... but I like colourful version too. I am still fascinated by this beautiful ginger colour which I use to draw Maitimo ( Eru bless VistaArtista markers )

I was kinda stressed this evening 'cause of combination of factors but doodling helped me to relax. So here is another sketch of Maitimo and Finyo. This is during their life in Aman when Fëanaro was reviling his brothers (again) and their children were trying to safe their calm and peaceful life. Findo was upset very often 'cause Fëanaro and Nolofinwë were arguing permanently but Nelyo was always there to cheer him up

I'm in doodling mood tonight, so here is a little sketch of post-rescue Maedhros.

His hair is still too short but already long enough to cause discomfort. But with one hand he can do nothing about it (he hasn't used to his condition yet). No worry - Findo is here to help!... Or it is exactly the thing to worry about. Finally, he can absolutely legally braid these awesome ginger curls without any misunderstanding) And Maitimo is secretly very happy but is still a bit uncomfortable about showing it

Upd: timeline here is a bit messed, 'cause to the moment Maedhros was rescued from Àngband his brothers were all adults and one of the Gingerheads was even dead... but I wanted to draw little Ambarussar badly so I ignored some canon facts)

Heyyy, here we go into another fandom! Now I'm stuck in Tolkien's Middle Earth badly and make fanart (instead of preparing for my biology exams, yeah...)

This is another a bit strange idea of mine (inspired by Pinterest, however) about AOT characters)

I imagine how young Erwin had always been tired as hell when he just became a commander. Certainly, he also has been doing a huge amount of work later on, but then he hadn't used to it yet. So Erwin could sometimes fall asleep like this — on the small couch, half undressed, not having enough energy to make it to the bed.

Aaaaand I'm sure that Levi was a witness to at least one of those nights. Captain just stared at his commander for a while, deciding on what to do. Finally he woke Erwin up and banished him to bed while grumbling about commander's complete stupidity

Some spoilers from little comics I'm working at about Levi interrupting Erwin's important paperwork

So, my friend showed me "Attack on Titan" and now he regrets doing it, 'cause he hates fanfiction, shippers and all this stuff and I... I fell in love with these two immediately) Don't know how to describe their relationship, but it's so heartwarming and close (especially in fanon, yeah) I just can't ignore it and stop thinking about soft comforting episodes to draw

Actually, not the best of my drawings but it's still challenging for me to draw animated characters in my style. It's a problem for a person who's used to drawing live-action characters and has never watched anime in their life)
