I’m really trying to get the feel right for these pages.

The intimacy by how close they chose to sit together. The suspicion of each other since they're still strangers. Coming off the high of surviving and now trekking through the unknown, trying to figure things out.

I'm really really good at punishing myself, as you can tell with this page. I really just over did the rendering on everyone and omg I'm making so much more work for myself and OMG I got like, 20 more pages, and OMG I have an actual job that requires my attention, and OMG I HAVE A TODDLER THAT WAKES UP AT 4:30 AM AND OMG I HAVE A HUSBAND TOO! AGHHH! 

I don't even know what to say about this page. I got deep into rendering the sexiness. And I love Claire's shrug in the last panel, cause holy shit, do these kiddos know NOTHING. Very Jon Snow...But, ya know, like a decade or so before show and I think books.

Sorry for the rambling. I've been up since 4:30 AM.

RIP Paul Haddad

Today is a new page day, but due to the tragic passing of Paul Haddad (original voice actor for Leon S. Kennedy), today’s page will only be shown on Patreon where it was posted days ago. I feel the subject matter of the page is just too close to the ailments Paul dealt with and I feel it’d be in poor taste to repost it everywhere as I normally would for the public. 

News about how to help his family has yet to be released, but I’ll share here once it’s known. More information can be found here.

It is a sad day and strange day, as I can remember the voice of a man whom I’ve never met.

Another Dawn- Chapter 1-3- Page 22

I really am looking forward to seeing peoples reaction to this chapter. It will start to delve into the effects the Raccoon City Incident had on the world, and I can't help but feel this situation we're currently in being a huge reflection to what I had written months ago. There might be a x-files vibe written in here, or at least that's what I was thinking of when I wrote it.

And this chapter will start to delve into our survivors backstories. I'm going to be doing a lot of tying into what is cannon from the original and remakes, and then adding my own flavor. I hope that it’ll all blend together well and take the story where I want.

Be prepared for surprises that make sense. I hope you enjoy.

WHERE WERE THE GIANT FUCKING SPIDERS IN THE REMAKE!? HUH!? WHERE!? (And the crows)

I really missed the giant spiders. And while there were secret webs in the sewers you could find, it's just not the same.

So...I may or may not have spent about 17 pages building up to this reveal of spiders surrounding our survivors. 

Anddd you tell me how they're handling it. 

FYI- That is a grass spider which I fucking LOATHE. Back in a shitty apartment I lived in while in San Francisco, grass spiders invaded and were literally eating me alive. I woke up covered in bites and had a slight allergic reaction. Though not as bad as my buddy who lived in the upstairs apartment. He had to stay home, he was feeling so bad.

But yes. I hate grass spiders. And by Leon's expression, I think he hates spiders to. ;)

Finally getting to actual interaction between characters, it's been a long time coming. So, of course it has to be about the good old dilemma of being a female out in nature.

I know I've had my share of inopportune potty calls when I was out in the middle of nowhere without a tp roll in sight.

Then again, I wasn't covered in zombie guts and G blood, so thats a plus.

Really, my take on the Post Raccoon City Incident will shine a more human light onto our survivors, for good or worse. Hope you enjoy. (Also sorry if I'm rambling, my toddler has been up every night for the past month and I'm averaging 5 hours of broken sleep a night. 8D)
