if you hate snakes or you’re scared of snakes, i will respect you fully. i will not force you to hold, touch, or look at my snakes. BUT I do post pictures of my snakes on MY social media. im so sick of those people that say “im gonna cut its fucking head off!!” It’s so fucking rude, I have snakes and I love them to death, i raised two of them and saved the other from bad care. i love my snakes. the other day i posted a gif of me and my boa constrictor, Azura, on my PERSONAL ig and someone, who didn’t even follow me commented “I’d chop that bitch up.” No one says that to dog pictures, cat pictures why is posting that about someone’s pet (regardless of what species) acceptable? That is my pet that I’ve cared for and looked after for a long time. again i will say, i respect if you don’t like or are afraid of snakes but commenting shit like that is just ridiculous. i’m not the only one this has happened to either, it’s actually really fucking common. Some people are going to have weird animals as pets but that doesn’t automatically make it cool for you to hate on them. people are going to have pets you don’t like, please respect that and please PLEASE stop saying you’d kill someone’s pet.
