The last of my series of posters for classes at Stinky Bklyn. As always, Sydnee Mejia was AD/Type Extraordinaire. I look forward to working on other projects with her in the future <33
Here’s another poster I designed for Stinky Bklyn! The class sold out and I’d like to think it’s because of this ridiculous poster. Once again, Sydnee Mejia was AD and type designer and totally killed it.
This is a poster I illustrated last month for a cheese pairing class at Stinky Bklyn. The drawing is a romanticization of the Manhattan location on W 20th street.
The left is my illustration and the right is the final with the classy type design from AD Sydnee Mejia. Wooooo!
Valentine's Day poster should be done soon!
This is a poster I designed for an event going on at Stinky BKLYN next week. I'm posting it here because A: I really liked how it turned out and B: The event's actually pretty cool. Brooklyn Brewery is going to sample some of their specially aged, exclusive brews so if you're down with rare-ass craft beers, you should get in on this!
Here are some shoddy iPad** photos taken of two small murals I painted for Stinky Bklyn. The two bottom photos are for scale reference's sake. Each are about 3" by 4". I haven't done that much mural painting or large-scale artmaking but every time I do, it always feels amazing. The more of your arm you put into your brushstrokes, the better. Compared to making little marks on paper, It's great for your body and it's surprisingly a lot easier to control everything. **lolihaveanipad
This month, I've been doing a bunch of chalkboard artwork for Stinky BKLYN, a sweet cheese shop in the Cobble Hill area of Brooklyn. This is a shoddy camera-phone documentation of one of my artistic contributions to the store: a big, fat rendering of Taleggio.
Taleggio is an Italian washed-rind cheese made with raw cow milk. It is traditionally aged for three months but Stinky ages theirs for an additional 30 days. The end result is a much creamier, pungent cheese with a complex, savory flavor of mushrooms and onions. It's amazing.
Try pairing it with a heavy red wine or with fresh tomatoes and sesame bread!
