I had a dream last night. It was pretty blurry but Vivid non the less. I remember some details, like the environment was pretty but eerie. Like a watercolor painting with black and blue wash and a messy but detailed line art.

The dream it self how ever, was a nightmare. Gore and blood, with a messed up fantasy elements.

I haven't watched any historical Chinese drama or any anime with pure historical Japanese aesthetic. God only knows how they influenced my dream to this extent.

And forget about the fantasy thing. I stayed away from cliche romantic fantasy like a red flag.

The dream held such detailed storyline that I can write it down on a paper. A beautiful gruesome tale with untold tragedy. How a princess sold herself to the devil to get her first love, who falls for a beautiful but some what tragic commoner girl. As cliche as it sounds but the plot itself is really dark if worked properly. The visuals and the character and the consept is pretty dark.

The princess uses the devil's power to try and kill the heroine. But there is prices, the devil was taking her soul as a beat. Devouring her to gain his power back.

Those, the killing process was quite gruesome itself, from get eaten by a sea monster to get melted alive into mangled gore of a human being infront of your lover.

But they survived.

In the end it was the princess who became a untold tragedy.

Her personal servent, who loved her to no end, watched her as she drive into insanity. Her pity for the princess grew into an unrequited love. But at a point, she was the one who took the princess's hand and shared her burden. She was the one who tried her hardest to pull out her from the threads of tangled jealously and insanity that the devil installed on her.
