We're really not gonna talk about the slow-pan towards the initials in the table?? Really?? The very same shot that occured after the one in which Dean looks morose as Sam tries to talk up a life free of Chuck's influence?? I have to do everything around here.

The five names carved into that table, the five names connected to the conversation about finally getting to make their own choices and be happy:

S.W: Sam, as mentioned above, will be able to have a life, the life he's always dreamed of. A white picket fence, a wife, kids. He would be free of hunting. We don't know yet if Jack's Earth has monsters, but if it does Sam would want to share all the tools and resources of the bunker. He could make a network for Hunters to stay connected and informed, to stay safe. So no one else would have to suffer like he and his family.

Jack: He gets to me an omnipresent, benevolent, passive God. Simply a Power, a balance, and that Power can no longer be manipulated for ita own gain. He is in everything. Everything is in him

Castiel: He spoke his truth. He let the sun shine on his face and chose death.

D.W.: His love has gotten the very same final ending as our other three protagonists. The ending that is happy. The ending that is chosen. Dean will not be able to choose happiness on Earth, will not be able to have a true ending that knows no Castiel. He will not have his happiness in life. Dean's whole story has been cheating and defeating Death. How fitting that he'll choose it, as he's done before, as he'll do again, for love.
