Seeing how the 911 fandom complains about literally everything and how so many people take things in bad faith has made me all but stop actually posting.

People destroy fanfiction over tiny things like alternate canon where Buck calls Athena Mom because he has a different, closer bond with her or something equally as harmless.

People will deliberately share around other people's posts and trash them because they don't agree or because they just didn't actually read it properly and then when they're called out they just ignore it or don't care.

Everything is either misogyny or racism and there's no nuance. There's no space for anything that isn't perfect characterisation and literally god help if you're into things like gore, age difference, ect because this fandom will absolutely eat you alive and literally send you death threats.

I've never been in a fandom that actually bullies the cast so much. The audaicty.

Its just. Terrifying. I love the show but even thinking about the fandom gives me anxiety.
