Hijinks-Adjacent

My part of this art trade with @prophetic-hijinks. She requested, quote "Just Elena and Bruno being lovey dovey. Maybe a little goofy"

I may have gone a little overboard trying to replicate her comedic style. I couldn't decide and let her choose bittersweet or funny ending.

Very late birthday gift for the lovely @prophetic-hijinks

Somewhere down the line of her comics and associated lore there's a snippet where Bruno is asking the family for more opportunities to work, trying to get in better shape, but he mentions an oddly specific weight he's going for.

Pepa, of course, twigs on immediately and asks Elena what she weighs.

I couldn't decide which expression to go with, so let's just go with one of these being a first attempt vs a later one when Bruno's a little more confident in himself (and maybe didn't just surprise Elena out of nowhere XD)

This was a much more wholesome reason for that lore lol.

Triplet stretches~ 💙💛💚

I'm very proud of the way these turned out! Really focused on capturing the differences in their body types while also honoring their similarities as triplets/siblings (freckles~). They also have things like stretch marks and body hair.

These turned out great. ✨️

Bruno the Mandalorian and Grogu for @wdtajn Week 3: Crossover.

He's not a Child of the Watch, so he does remove his helmet in front of others. Perhaps his beskar armor has a tint of green to it. I imagine he and Grogu would get along pretty well 🥺

CHAPTER 1 of my ENCANTO x ROAD TO EL DORADO crossover comic.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has been patiently waiting for this. I first saw this movie a little over a year ago during a busy and stressful time. As much as it pains me not to be able to dedicate as much time to personal projects anymore, it's a reminder of how fortunate I am to be working full-time in my dream career in animation. 

I hope you stick around for the rest of the story. There is so much information in every panel. NOTHING is without meaning. 

CHAPTER 2: We'll touch base with some of Bruno's nieces and nephews, hear from a few folks around town, and get a glimpse into Chel's home life and her history in The Encanto. Is this even the same Chel that we know from centuries ago?

This is so worth the wait. The art is gorgeous and colorful. The dialogue captures the characters' voices very well. And the first chapter alone sets up the story in a very intriguing way. The balloons and the text in them came out a bit tiny in my opinion and requires a lot of zooming. Other than that, it's pretty great!

Day 4 of the Sobrino Roundup

"Come here you little punk! I spent all day on those!"

"I regret nothing!"

*several noogies and aggressive ticklings later*

"Ok OK! I'll help you make more!"

The only thing hungrier than a pregnant lady is the teenager that steals her roscones! Camilo is more impressed his Tío Bruno actually managed to marry the feisty town librarian than anything. They tease each other constantly, and have been partners in crime for pranks more than once. The fact that he's only a bit younger than her youngest primo and that he was a little sweet on her before she joined the family helps, and they have an easy going, fun relationship. Bruno and Mariano get the worst of it as their permanent prank targets.

Ooh, a sneak peek at THE RING! I love it! I like the Camilo moments on AtE. He is clearly fond of Elena, and I love that they grow closer when she joins the family! 💚💛
