I think that Father Of All… would’ve probably been considered a really good album if it was anyone BUT Green Day’s album. Seemed kinda foreshadowed by Green Day’s own legacy, it was a catchy album. Were this a new band we’d have been talking about how cool the dance punk vibe was. Or maybe we weren’t yet that into ‘new rock’. A lot of that seemed to happen through and after the pandemic.
